That's like asking a mother which newborn child she has to throw into the forest. Or something similar...:cat:

Oh, what you'd like to play. Well, all of 'em. But if you can't do that, I'd recommend VI first. Seeing as how it started all the trends in FFs VII and up. (Stock characters, overall plot, stock villians, deeper customization system, etc.)

And unlike other FFs, the female leads are never annoying in any way. Guaranteed. Except if you hate Relm, for whatever strange reason...:cat:

And, for the NES ones, try to get a ROM of FFIII. It embodies fun and excellence, and music that you never get tired of. :choc2:

some guy was talking about an emporer guy who killed more than sepoiroth and was from old school final fantasy.which one is it?

Well, alot of things killed more than Sephy, but then again, lots of things die in those older FFs. ;)

There's an emperor in FFII, and a King of Baron in FFIV, Emperor Gastra in FFVI (and, another certain deranged person who kills alot of people...), the Shinra in FFVII, though I always thought more oppressive than bloodthirsty, the Galbadian Army in FFVIII, the Queen of Alexandria in FFIX, the Yevon Church in FFX..

Yeah, empires, organized religion, and militaristic electric power companies are all pretty common in FFs.

But anyway, FFII and VI had a big 'Emperor who wants to take over everything', and was pretty extreme in FFII's case.

One thing to consider, the older FFs' storylines weren't as deep untill FFVI. That doesn't mean that they weren't flat, just that everything isn't dug into the ground, so to speak :p :cat:

Well, the first time you play it, maybe about as long as it takes to beat VII. That's if you don't know what to do, but if you've played it many times, and know all the cheap tricks and such, you can easily get 20 or so hours. But maybe 30-40 hours the first time, if you've never played it before.(Bout as long as VII.) I hope you enjoy it! :) :cat:

oh and whos kefka>?

Heathen.
Kefka is the psycopathic clown/ main villan from FFVI. Not my favorite villan, but one of the funniest.

FFV is easily the best.

III (U.S.) VI is EASILY the best FF not only of the old school games but of the ENTIRE LINE. And as for the Emperor you were asking about you could almost throw a dart at 2-6 and hit on with a crazed emperor/clown that killed MANY ppl.

All FFs before VII are worth playing, but yeah, out of all of them, VI is easily the best.

I actually thought deep plots started at four, but got much better in six. But yes, six is the best of them, followed by four and five. One was alright, I didn't like 2 and 3.
