Personally I think FFVII is the easiest FF out of them all closely followed by X, what do you think? and why?

I think its the easiest because 85% of the bosses are really easy to defeat, about 90% of the enemies are really easy to kill also and generally the game is easy but still the best FF ever!

I got further on VII than I did on VIII, so I guess so.

The easiest was 8 followed by 10 followed by 7.

the easiest is definately 7 thats one of my biggest gripes with it....that and the glitchyness, translation problems and graphics!

Nope for me final fantasy 8 was easier... I don't hit upon the MP system... I prefer the FF8 way!

VII was easy-peasy. However, there's a mod for the PC version called Hardcore Mode. Check it out.

Going from my first playthroughs, FFX was the easiest for me. Second would be IV and then VII.

You've never played FFX-2, have you?

When i played FF7 the first time, i only died once on my way to the final battle with Sephiroth. It was when i accidentally fought Emerald Weapon. I never beat Sephiroth though, he wiped out my entire party with this attack that came from space. :mad2: :mad2:

X-2 is the easiest - FFVII was kinda hard, FFVIII same as well, but at least I could beat FFVII..as for FFIX..well, that was 50/50

FFI DoS is stupidly easy.

Sephiroth can't wipe out your party with Supernova as it takes a percentage of your current HP.

I think Supernova damage reduced 93.8 Max HP. I wasn't thinking it's the easiest, cause I found FFX-2 to be way easy, the last boss is a dissapointment.
From Hardest to Easiest

Final Fantasy Tactics (The boss is hard)
Final Fantasy X (I hate the way to get sigil, a great pain in the ass:( )
Final Fantasy VII (I hate those damn weapons)
Final Fantasy VIII (My friend told me it's hard)
Final Fantasy IX (Good Character and stroyline but lame difficulty)
Final Fantasy x-2 (All the challenge are freakingly EASY)

I can't complain about FFVII-DC, FFXII, FFVI because I haven't finished it yet.

Find FFVII: Hardcore Mode, as well as several other modifications from this site:

http://www.qhimm.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=3&sid=fc135525f72785b29dde100e42a70457

Keep in mind it's for the PC version only. It doesn't seem to be on the first page so you may have to search.

FFX-2 is by FAR the easiest one, based on plot battles only. Umm, Alchemist, anyone? The optional dungeons BARELY make it worth playing through, but more people will be more upset based on the fact that the optional dungeon isn't difficult, but is rigged.

Rigged == random damages over 10k, without anyway to guard, evade, or get enough HP to withstand without compromising your attack, which you need to actually defeat the enemies that DO that much damage.

FFVII is marginally harder, but with KotR, all == dead. For me, I found it hard, but only because I missed the Life Materia, and never bought Pheonix Downs. If Cloud died, he stayed dead.

FFIV (FFII, NA), DoS I and II are beyond easy.
X isn't easy because of Seymour Flux and Yunalesca... alone. Even the cutscene right before them, which you can't skip, is designed to make you tired, and rush through without thinking, which == dead.

FFVI is easy and requires little or no effort to splam through the game. If you know all the cheap tricks and such, they don't require much preparation at all. :cat:

Zidane: No, FFVII was the second easiest. In order:

FFX - developed summon power to where Bahamut did 99,999 damage with a simple strike, 2 strikes took anything out.
FFVII - Omnislash made key boss fights WAY TOO EASY.
FFVIII - Lionheart, same deal.
FFIX - developed Zidane's abilities to where in Trance, a simple strike did 9,999 damage so with Auto-Regen on everyone, it was simple to get through boss fights if Zidane was near Trance.

Just need to point out something. Bahamut was nothing compared to Animas attack. Anima boosted up = each one of her punches could do 99,999 HP of damage.

Now that I think about it, 7 was pretty easy. though sometimes i would get stuck in places cuz some of the ways to get out were extremely easy, but you wouldnt expect it. sorry if your confused by what i said.
the ending was a total disapointment for me, seriously. i had level 60 people and beat sephy even through four super novas.

i've only played ff10, 10-2, 1 and 2 DoS, and playing 7, i got into ff like 2 years ago, and this is all i played...i like ff10 though, and my friend says she's yuna, and she never played :p

From what I heard mystic quest is the easiest...

I thought IX very easy at the time. But VII is for sure one of the easiest. If you get the righ materia combos, you can easily develop a character with excessive abilities.

I always belived it to be well balanced with hard side quests such as the weapons. With training for hours and getting the mega secrets it does become a little easier, but only nearer the end and any game would if you spend hours leveling.

I thought 8 was the easiest. You could have 100 demis junctioned on each character before you even left for Timber.

I think X-2 is easy, I was able to beat Vegnagun with 3000-4000 hp on each character.
But each game does have a part where you're pulling hairs out of your head.
