I don't even have to rate the others, because they can't compare to Tifa Vs. Loz.

Yazoo should've gotten a fight on his own, seeing as he's the best character to ever come out of any Squaresoft/Squeenix production.......ever.

all of the battles scored high on my list. no other movie or game has come close to these battles except maybe a view games like Onimusha 3 opening, Ninja Gaiden, and God of War. But still, every battle to me was good. As for the Sephiroth battle....11/10. that was beast. I loved how they implemented Omnislash.

I saw someone else complain about the Tifa fight becasue they didn't like how fast she was and how she could run on walls. i thought it was perfect because, these people are supposed to be better then the best anyone ever seen. This is the group that one person could kill an entire group of guards in one hit. They have to make them be able to do stuff like that or else it wouldn't make sense. If they couldn't jump or move like that, how on earth could you explain them beating a weapon?

also, i liked the motorcycle battle alot to. it was probably the first real good vehical melee fight thats ever happened. (probably best vehicle fight ever)

[Mo-Nercy]

1) In the Outskirts of Midgar: A good prelude battle. When I first saw Cloud's goggles/sunglasses get blown off I was like "woah!" The background music that plays is awesome, peaking when Kadaj is on the phone. I would have liked it to be faster like the Tunnel fight so I'm giving this an 6/10

2) Within the Chruch: Tifa pwnz. Even when she loses, she pwnz. A showcase of her coolest limit breaks as well as a revelation as to how Loz's weapon actually works. Fighting in Church always creates a cool, eery effect and there's obvious bias toward Tifa because she's hot (in the computer generated sense of the word) so this battle gets a nice perfect 10/10

3) The Forgotten Capital: This was battle when I was like "OHHH, THAT'S HOW HIS SWORD WORKS!" So it was pretty big moment. Up till this point, I had just thought he had 6 different swords that didn't connect or anything. It's also the battle where you first see Kadaj do any real fighting. His katana/s is/are so frickin' cool and the way he wields it is mesmerising (assassin style). You also get to see some teamwork and coordination between the SHM which is pretty cool. I hate how Vincent bails Cloud out though, it seems very tacky for him to be flying around like a ghost. 7/10

4) Reno & Rude VS. Yazoo & Loz: A comedic battle really. Yazoo says more in this battle than in the rest of the movie put together so I guess Yazoo fans would like this fight. I like how Reno and Rude are able to get in a few good hits but I'm disappointed that Reno's cattle prod only seems to be used for whacking and not shocking. And Rude's martial arts seem to be nowhere near the level of Tifas, which I guess makes sense but it also made this battle quite boring to watch. 4/10

5) Bahamut SIN: The teamwork between all the characters in this battle is what makes it great. Everyone loves this fight simply because their favourite character is in it, whether it be Yuffie, Cid or Red XIII. It's a pity Cait Sith and Tifa don't really DO anything here but I guess that's expected. Barret could also use an aimbot or something. xD The final blow to Bahamut is what wraps up this amazing battle in great style. 10/10

6) At the Highway and the Tunnel: Sweet fight. The way in which Loz and Yazoo cooperate is evident again here and it helps to give the impression that Cloud is really...screwed. But being the protagonist that he is, he pulls through before Reno and Rude finish the pair off in a hilarious fashion. And who doesn't love how Cloud dismembered that motorcycle matrix-bullet-time-style. 9/10

7) Kadaj VS. Cloud: An underrated battle. It plays the best background music, the fight is between the games two coolest characters and it's really darn fast too. I remember the trailer showed a little bit of this fight but the action wasn't happening anywhere near as fast as it was in the movie. Kadaj's leap of faith before he gets pwned is great and the music helps set up and dramatise it. I love this fight to bits 11/10

8) Cloud VS. Sephiroth: Not so cool. The Uberslash at the end makes it pretty neat. I liked how the pair danced through the pillars of the building, fighting in darkness but the parts where they're literally flying about, cutting apart buildings...even for this movie, it seems overdone. I know this is supposed to look cool, and that Squenix did not aim to capture realism at all, but I really think this battle could have been dumbed down a little. 6/10
