Talking SOAD here, which one did you guys like better? I personally prefer Mezmerize, but Hypnotize still was good...either way SOAD is one of the best bands out there.

I liked Mezmerize much better than Hypnotize and I agree that they are one of the better bands.

I never got the whole SOAD craze...because i dont like them much at all. but mezmerize has that violent pornography song, which was good. so i say mezmerize.

Both suck. S/T was good.

I like Hypnotize more, but M/H were their weakest albums by far. I love their self-titled album and Steal This Album! the best. SoaD was better then, in my opinion.

Mesmerize was just the better album if you ask me. Definitely my favorite album of theirs. They got a lot more creative than other albums and explored some musical directions I never would have expected from them. It's also one of a dozen or so albums I own that I can honestly say I love every song. Hypnotize was great as well though. Some of it's songs really stand out, but overall I'd put it just behind Toxicity for a solid third place in my ranking of SOAD albums.

Mezmerize. I got all the System of a Down records, and these are my favorite:

(oh yeah, i think a lot of people just liked only a couple of songs of this band (like hitsingle Chop Suey!), just because the band became launched in the middle of the whole nu-metal fad, so:rolleyes2 )

1. Toxicity  The first album i got of Soad.
2. System of a Down
3. Mezmerize:cool:
4. Steal This Album
5. Hypnotize

I just recently bought Mezmerize and Hypnotize, and Mezmerize:monkey: is the bomb!

I'm not a very big System of a Down fan, but Mezmerize had 'B.Y.O.B.' and 'Question!' and I liked those two.

Mezmerize, defiantly. Hypnotize wasn't that great in my opinion.

Toxicity ruled all though. One of the best albums out there.
