I am a small time actor, who hasn't acted in years, and now I am trying out to be an "extra" in the up coming spiderman movie. It's nothing big time, I mean it's not like I'm be famous. Everyone has to start somewhere though right?.....I'm 18 and ....yah .....

Having acted and worked with actors I can offer one piece of advice over all others : Be different. Any schum can learn how to deliver lines in a certain way. All of the actors at my school act the exact same way and it's horrid. If you're the type who tends to blend in with the crowd then acting isn't for you.

I was a major part in 2 plays before my parents divorce. I saw my dad do some hurtfull things to people I cared about myself included...I snaped a little haven't acted since and here we are now...blah blah blah.

I just got back from a 4 hour line. They took my photos and considered me. They said that theyll be making calls for the next few weeks...I hope I get the right call. I realy need this in life.:)

Good luck, I hope you get a part! they've filmed some independent films in my area, and there's one coming up next month. I've been in a couple of plays, but never anything as serious or as big as what you're doing, even if it's just an "extra" part. I hope it works out!
