Do I earn anything special from a high, initial SeeD Rank Report?

I usually try getting as high ranks as possible during the exam; however, I'm starting to become pretty fed up with fighting 80 enemies every time, mostly because I never liked keeping track on how many I actually beat ("did I really beat 80 of 'em now? What if I miscalculated?" and so on :rolleyes2).

My simple question: is it really WORTH the trouble?
The only benefits I see in the whole mess is getting a little higher SeeD Rank right away, but I never thought that was really worth it. :mad::cool:

You get money. But money is not an issue in FF8. You ONLY need it for items and they are not that expensive. Later in the game you will be allowed to complete a SeeD Rank Test as many times as you want.
Getting the right answers earns you a higher rank and more money but like I said money is not important in this game.

What the heck, I never really need items either; I just put this Esuna on all chars, and boost their HP and Strength sky-high, and then they are INVINCIBLE! :thumb:

i just answer all of the questions right to get a near unlimited supply of money so i never run out so i can buy 100 of each item just in case i need them.

Not worth it. If you are OK with cheating then I suggest getting the test answers.

just a large lump sum every once in a while, which is good. but based on all the walking done before i hear that sound that indicates i just got paid, it's almost like a monthly pay-check...

I just play it as I will, if I get a good SeeD rank that's a bonus.

I don't think it's worth it.
