I always try getting as many über-magics as possible whenever I'm able to.
For example, I never leave for the Timber mission before getting 100 Curagas for each character, including a bunch of Waters and Zombies.

When I did my Final Fantasy VIII Low Level challenge I had 100 of almost every final-tier magic in the game before I even left the city of Balamb, barring only a few that are inaccessible by any means. At this point I had also already upgraded my weapons to some of their final forms.

I used to do that, but it's not fun anymore. Now I don't stock magic anymore than I have the patience to do so. I usually have the highest level member stock magic and the other two fight. I get enough magic that way and keep my levels even.

I do but, only for the magics I really want a lot of.

I really don't go out of my way to draw spells unless the draw point is right in front of me or nearby and I rarely draw spells from enemies either. The only time I do a lot of "drawing" is the islands closest to heaven and hell, cuz the spells there rock!!! :D But what I mostly do to get awesome spells is use the magic refine ability. That is a REALLY useful thing!!! :grinpink:

Oh, and those Heaven/Hell islands are noteworthy as well: gotta love Ultima, Full-Life and Meteor! :thumb:

Freakishly enough I also do that! I though no one else did that, a friend of mine even laughed at me when she saw I did that (but hey, I like it, so what? :-) )

okay, i go out of my way to get 100 fire, thunder, blizzard and sleep and i collect fish fins at the start to refine into waters for my strength at the beginning, but yeah, i also like to do the whole, "well now i've got 14, i'll have to get 100!" and i cast sleep on characters that have already got 100 of that magic

~~my friend gawped at me when i had 100 of every high class magic by disk 2

i do it very, very much. spend like 10-15 minutes/+ with some of the battles just drawing Magic from enemies and stocking.

The only reason I end up with so much magic is my dangerous card addiction. I spend so much time playing that game that I end up with enough items to refine anything I want really. This means I also never get screwed over by the random rule XD I really dont have the patience to draw 100 magic from every enemy though, especially when my magic stat is so low that I can draw 1 spell at best.

Yes, I do that... ^^"! But sometimes it can get pretty boring...

I dont usually go with 100, but I do set a number that I need to draw of a magic. For the game I started today (yes, today) I chose 60. Although, I draw more if I have it junctioned.

It's actually not too surprising, and not all that time consuming at all. Just another example of how easy the game can be if you use the Junction System to it's fullest. :cat:
