That the colors of the clothes of the people wear are the same as the FF before it.

Just like this. They're both wearing white, blue, and yellow.
Has anyone else noticed this?

...huh? Are you saying people are wearing clothes with the same colours in them through all FF's, or just from FF10-2 to FF12? I'm very confused.

All the FF's.

Zidane: In FFVIII, Rinoa wore black and light blue, Vivi wore a light blue robe, but that's because he's a Black Mage, In FFIX Garnet wore orange and white, I didn't see anyone in FFX wear orange and white.

I could have sworn Rikku wore orange.

Zidane: Rikku in FFX? Wait, I think she did, but she didn't wear white did she? I forgot, it's been a while since I played FFX.

She wore white in X.

Zidane: Okay, well, so what if FF characters share the taste in color anyway?

Considering that most of the new characters come from the same creator, it's not surprising that their wardrobe is similar. It's a stylistic influence. But to say that all the characters are wearing the same colored clothing is like saying that they used the same Item names in the all the FFs.

They obviously did, but I mean, who is going to come up with a new color for people to wear? From this point on, I hereby declare that all White Mages to no longer wear White, but now, they will wear Light Urple.

She wore white in X.

Not Rikku. She only wore Red, Green, and Orange. Yuna wore white, but that was because she was
a) a White Mage
b) in a wedding dress

I could come up with a list of what all the cbharacters and NPCs wore in all the FFs, but surprisingly enough, you'd find nearly all the colors are used at least once. Except Light Urple, which will now be used in FFXIII and on.

OMG, Fighter, Red Mage, and White Mage from FFI use the same colors and so do Thief, Black Belt, and Black Mage.

I don't get it, I mean honestly, there are so many colors in the world, and only so many combinations of colors that look good... am I right?

Right.

Cloud - purple/Squall - black and white
Aeris - pink and white/Rinoa - blue and white

i'm confused. well, white appears three times, but it's one of the biggest color trends. if it's something like FFT/FFTA, then well the classical colors do match up:

WHM - red/white
BLM - black/blue
RDM - uh, red

This is a stupid observation, who gets worked up over two people wearing orange in two different games, I personally dont.

Often, I think the creators like to have our hereos wearing bright, positive, and noticable colours. Note the use of the word often, and not always. However, I don't think they try to use the same colours over and over again. I'd say they go for bright, positive and noticable colours.

There are exceptions, like Squall with his black and white, for instance. This was very indicative of his personality, and the mood of the game.

Umaro is wearing the same fur as Cait Sith. I can't believe I haven't noticed this before.

i wouldn't say the colors are always the same. but i see the similar usage of color worn by the women:

Selphie (FFVIII)...http://mud.mm-a8.yimg.com/image/2779580568

Garnet (FFIX)...http://mud.mm-a2.yimg.com/image/403643674

Rikku (FFX)...http://mud.mm-a2.yimg.com/image/371875440

Rikku (FFX-2)...http://mud.mm-a1.yimg.com/image/1111954

Penelo (FFXII)...http://mud.mm-a4.yimg.com/image/1020666401

so the colors are not the same, but they are in the group of yellow/golden/orange. women who are seen wearing them seem very cheerful and optimistic.

Garnet: I fail to see your point, so what if FF females share the taste in color?
