Ummm. How do you honestly manage to talk that much?

And that's only since January? Holy freakin' crap man. I mean, keep the phone going night and day and make sure it's a call to the space station up in orbit. All I can say is, I'm glad I don't have a large phone bill.

That... that's pretty great. You'd think these things would be checked.

Yeah, that's hard to fathom. I don't know how you could accumlate such a bill. I'm sure it must be a mistake.

And how do they honestly expect someone to pay 218 trillion dollars? That is insane.

Venom
04-11-2006, 12:53 AM
That guy could probably pay it if he asked his mother if he could borrow money.

Levian

I have a feeling they won't let him call his mother.

How could ANYONE be able to play $218 trillion? Bill Gates, the richest man in the world, has about $300 billion.

I'm skeptical.

Llednar Twem

Actually, it's much more because he has to pay 806,400,000,000,000.01 ringgits, worth more in Malaysia.

That sounds like a bunch of crap. I don't think there's even $218 trillion in the world. Or if there is, it's not by much.

$6 Trillion in the US. Who knows how much elsewhere.

RSL

I wonder how much money there is in the world? That is a very valid point. I typed that into google and found a site that attempted to guestimate how much money is in the United States, including currency and what's in bank accounts and whatever else and they came up with about 6 trillion.

edit: Okay, spiff and I were checking that out at the same time

I'm 99.99999999999999999999999% sure that this is either a cruel joke or a mistake. Even if it is, how in the hell do they expect him to pay that much? That's an asinine assumption.

The only way someone would be able to get hit with a bill of that size in that time would be to be paying up something like $25,231,481.48 per second for 100 days (roughly how long this year has been to date). No company would be able to charge that amount. This is so clearly fake (or a mistake) it's insane.

I'd send them a check for $218 trillion from a bunk bank account. That's how you get back at The Man. *sticks it to The Man, and prompts a deluge of Aaron Freed jokes*

Exactly, by my rough calculations (No calculator, and lazy enough to just round off a little), that's about 1.6666.... billion dollars per minute. No single telephone line could ever be responsible for that kind of phone call. The phone company owes this poor man a month of free long distance, plus court costs and so on, just for the hassle.

Wow, I guess if my parents recieved smth like that, I'd be dead right now... but is clrearly a mistake... he had to spend all the days on the phone and I guess that it's not a habbit that people have :p
Anyway it's good to see that my phone bill isn't catually THAT big!

I would blame the bill on a numerical overflow in the phone coprporation's billing software. But unfortunately, 218 trillion doesn't match with 32 bit and 64 bit numerical overflows.

That has got to be an error of epic proportions. That is going to be legally shot down in no time flat.

 This is insanity, you know? USD 218 Trillion?! Where could that guy get that kind of money?? Man, I think that's crazy, I mean, that's kind of impossible to pay! Even the richest person doesn't have the much money... I have a vibe the phone company made a mistake, I mean, his dad must be talking a lot! >.> Gee, if my parents find out that I have that kind of debt, they would kill me!!! >.<
