What's your favorite sweets? I love anything exotic. Here in the Philippines, we have something called "Polveron" and it's so amazing, I love it. I always enjoy sweets from around the world, not the usual and boring chocolate, but something a little more exotic. Do you like exotic sweets? And which?

I do not like exotic sweets. They're very often only insects. :(

I don't ever get to try any from anywhere else. My dad works at a sweet factory, Swizzels, and he sometimes brings back stuff from there, but it's all English stuff obviously. As many of us know, most English sweets suck.

But I like English sweets! Bassetts makes amazing sweets. I would love to work in a candy factory! *Steals candy and eats them with Grace*

Okay, some of them are good! But the majority contain horrible additives and crap that will make me die earlier. ;)

I love to taste strange and exotic things whenever I have the possibility, but think we Italians make some of the most fabulous sweets in the world such as our ice creams and pastry. So I seldom find myself dreaming about foreigner sweets.
The exception, however, are stroopwafels (I think they're called like that), golden brown, extremely sweet, extremely sticky round Dutch wafers that taste deliciously like honey and vanilla.
Stroopwafels, I have a raw and untamed lust for you!! I love you!! Fly to me through the sky all the way from Holland!!!!

Maybe I should just try to convince my Dutch friend Maurice to send me some. .__.

Lemon Bon Bons! Oh gosh.

I'm not a big chocolate fan myself, either. However, orange chocolate is love! :jess:

Banana chips, those little coca-cola-shaped and flavored gumdrops, Newyorker chocolate-chip cookies, vanilla flavored waffles, and ketchup or pickle flavored chips:D

I usually go for Chocolate over Sweets.
Chocolate > Sweets

I was born in the Philippines. :D I also like Polveron except for the fact that it makes my mouth really dry.

Also in the Philippines, there's this candy that's wrapped up in an orange transparent candy wrapper. It's so sweet that it's disgusting. Well, to me it is. That's just me though. I don't like things that are too sweet.

Citrus fruits count as exotic sweets right?

i like this kind of sweets called "mochi" (almost like a larger turkish delight, xD). it's round, flat, and powdery on the outside. it has a filling of bean paste or paste and coconut. sweet rice is great too, they come in different colors and can be mixed with various nuts. i generally prefer American snacks over Asian snacks. there is just something about our sweets that keeps me from eating too much...

oh, i remember now! too much bean paste! it's in cakes, breads, mooncakes, and everything else.
