Can someone explain why Mai have so much hatred for Joey? Is it that she dosen't want him to win or is it that she's such a coward?

She doesnt hate Joey but loves him and doesnt how to show it. Atleast thats what my cousin says.

Yami and Tea would make a better couple in my opinion. Joey should just stick with Mai (She looks much better than Tea).
