to me final fantasy is ONE of the greatest series. the legend of zelda, final fantasy, the metroid series. there all great series.

LOL, joking right??? Street Fighter? How the hell can that be when there are only so many ppl to fight and you see the same stages over and over and over... As for the Gran Turismo and MGS series...I don't know because I never got into them. Zelda and Mario are close but chalk this one up to the GREATEST series ever.

wahey! hold it there boy! Ok street fighter might not be the best, matter of opinion, if you played games during the SNES early PS years you'd know what I'm talking 'bout;) .

And for you to DOUBT that Mario's better than FF...that's insane, NO GAMER can dare say that there's really a better series than Mario.

the game series is the best game series ever so i vote greatest. ive only seen FF:TSW for films and that wasnt very good but FF7:AC looks realy good so im not counting films when i say FF is the greatest series ive ever played. mainly because of interesting storylines. soul reaver is my second favourite series. ive only completed the first game but ill get the second and a few others in the legacy of kain series. tekkens storyline also slightly intrigues me.

Yeah...there are actually series that I think are greater than FF, although I do think FF is one of the greatest, so it's just really great. Tales of, tri-Ace games, Dragon Quest, Phantasy Star, and many other RPGs which I can't think of right now are also pretty great.

Great series.
As much as I love Final Fantasy and enjoy it very much I can't see it as the greatest.
Nor any game, every game has it's falls and every player has it's taste,
so everyone can say that their favorite games are the greatest but it's really just a matter of taste.
