i STILL need help

i am still trying to do FFx legit but i still can't get past the tentacle water creature thingy (sorry can't remeber the name) Its when they are on the Shoopuff heading toward guadosalm For some reason no matter wat i try i can't beat him! What have you guys done in the past to defeat him?

i personaly have neva had a prob with him, jus bring a load of potions, and pheonix downs. if u r still havin probs do wot crazybayman sed and level up.

Let Tidus have a thunder weapon and wakka have a ball that has thunder or that has darkness.If u let wakka attack it with a darkness weapon the Extractor will miss its attacks .Let Tidus attack and heal when need.try to have wakkas overdrive full so u can get the at least 2 lightning to help.If it is ready to do depth charges be sure your character is healed all the way.When it did do depth charges then heal.Before it does depth charges it goes up let wakka attack while tidus heal them fully when tidus is done healing let him help attack.

Use Wakka:D He's great with water fiends. Make sure you heal yourself as much as possible.:tonberry:

Well if you do it right the Tentacle water creature is no problem (I've forgot it's name also) have Wakka use his darkness attack he'll hardly ever hit you and ALWAYS keep one of the smaller creatures alive otherwise all 4 come back.

Stock up on potions and take no chances if your having trouble.

Extractor, 4k HP, weakness to Thunder. If you are referring to Sinspawn Ammes, then Dark Attack, and when the monster clears Darkness, use it again, use potions as necessary. Don't bother with the side fiends, not even to take a turn to kill one, because they are simply called, or if you miss, you waste a turn, and Ammes will simply call them all back again, because of their Suicide attack.

Otherwise...
Haste with Tidus. Simply attack, and if Wakka has his Overdrive ready, then use it, and hope you line up three Thunders. Extractor is immune to all status ailments that you can use thus far. Hurry and save Yuna from this malicious enemy.

If you want to be absolutely sure of yourself, then equip both Tidus and/or Wakka with a Thunderstrike weapon, but it is rather unnecessary. If Extractor prepares to use Depth Charges, then heal with Potions and High Potions, as necessary, or attack, if you have Sensor weapons equipped. Brotherhood for Tidus and any Strength plus 10%+ weapon for Wakka is recommended.

There should be no need to level up past 20 TOTAL Sphere levels for this battle.

I'm sure Extractor isn't immune to darkness. I remember using darkness attack on him, and that was just a week ago.

jus generally use haste, darkness attack, and cheer. if extractor raises up it's about to use a depth charge. if u can inflict more than 500hp before it's next attack it'll cancel it though.

i killed the extrator easy. too easy. but it don't have tentacules. mabye he meant either one or both. darkness NEVER works on machines.

Extractor does have tentacles, they just are not slimy. They fly around behind it, making them obscured by the emergency of the fight. And Extractor IS immune to Darkness, so don't bother.
