I'm looking for a really basic content management system. Most things I've found have either been really bloated or directed specifically towards blogs, having that stereotypical blog layout.
I want something very simple and stripped-down. I want to be able to specify accounts and have a backend login, then I need to be able to use that backend to make a post to the frontsite. That's really it. Perks if it has decent WYSIWIG editing, to streamline typing (HTML coding really bogs down the writing process :p), and if it has fields to specify a header/author, but it's not necessary.
I've looked all over sourceforge and haven't been able to find anything that's as basic as I've wanted. Can anyone make recommendations? My server is PHP5, Perl, and MySQL enabled. It seems like the kind of thing that'd be best to code myself, except I don't know how to code in web languages worth a hoot :p I barely know how to program in compiled languages, either, but still xD
