Why are they playing Mad Max on this History channel?

ed is here with me at a friends house flipping channels. The moive, Mad Max, is on the history channel. Both of our minds are ****ing blown because we didn't know the events of Mad Max actually occured.

Of course the Mad Max movie is based on real events. That's what Australia is really like. Mel Gibson used to be a cop before his kid and wife got killed. Later on he meets Tina Tuner and makes films about religious figures.
