there should be a member of that card group on the ragnarok; they'll remodel your weapons for you.

It's a long trek. Hopefully you did some chocobo training!

Else you could try getting the tonberry GF and learning the junk shop ability.

There's a much easier way! As long as you have the items neccessary and the gf doomtrain, all you need to do is go to the menu, select either customise or ability, i can't remember exactly, and go to weapons shop. You can do this wherever you are. Just don't do it inside the castle unless you have the ability to junction summons back.

Fourth Disc Extras (Various)

You should find yourself close to the Great Grandidi Forest; equip Diablos' Enc-None to save yourself the hassle of having to fight through hoardes of monsters such as Malboros and Hexadragons, and head north-east into the Chocobo Sanctuary. Take a Chocobo and ride it south along the Esthar coastline until you reach the southern tip, and then cross the shallows that link up to the Kashkabald Desert. Use the beach on the south-eastern side to get onto dry land and then head towards the center of the continent to find the Ragnarok. If you're having difficulties locating it, bring up the map; the Ragnarok will appear as a red dot on it.
Either do it like that, or...as for me...
I didn't do it that way; I went through a gate that brought me close to Blue Heaven (or somewhere around there; it was on Cetra continent), found a chocobo forest near Edea's house, got a chocobo, and with some difficulty found my way to the ragnarok after pulling up the map a few times. Do it this way if you didn't do any of the chocobo sidequests; I didn't, used a regular chocobo (that only goes on land and shallow water) and I was fine. You should still equip encounter-none till you find the chocobo forest. good luck! if you've got any more questions, PM me for help. :)

In addition, in any potential future play-throughs, you should get the GF tonberry as early as possible; some of his abilities are very valuable. If you don't know how to get him, gamefaqs has some very good walkthroughs, etc. And completing the card quest is a good idea as well...

It's pretty simple.
Just to to the North East Esthar gate on the coast, and keep winding through the forest until you reach the chocobo holy ground. Grab a Chocobo and go to Centra (chocobos can cross shallow water if you didn't know). Look on your map for a red, unmoving dot, and that's the Ragnarok.
