I dont remember what it was called.... but it was better then Zantetzuken because it only did AoE damage in the classic FF games...

I don't know why the FFVII version only had six legs. The real thing had eight.

I don't know with this "Nightmare" thing, but Odin's horse, who's called "Sleipner", has 8 legs. Norse Mythologies.

Odin as the Dark Rider is mentioned in the quest from president Naja to increase mercenary rank. In Wajaom Woodlands you can find "Dark Rider's Footprint" or something like that on the ground. That's about all I know. Nobody I know has fought him or even knows how he's spawned. The other HNM that I know of so far is Cerberus who's found on Mt. Zhayolm. A large hnmls on Shiva fought him for ~7 hours but didn't have enough ppl to actually kill.

Cerberus is a chump and easily taken out with similar strategy as you would use to take out Wyrms like Tiamat. What gets everyone killed is that around 15-20% he starts spamming Gates of Hades for AoE fire damage around 700 to everyone. He can't be kited out of his casts the way King Behemoth can either. Most people just use several RDM/DRK and then Chainspell+Stun him many times in a row and have everyone else zerg the crap out of him.
