Ok, i notice this way back in September when i first bought the Japanese version, but me being lazy, i couldn't be bothered to make a topic about it. Anyways, i checked for it while watching the English version and it was like it though, so i thought i'd let people in on it.....well i won't tell you exactly but just look at the pictures and you'll see what i'm going on about.
It asked the question of "how the hell did you forget that?"
Spot the difference and see for yourself.

That''s so wierd but I think the first one has better graphics or maybe the second one's just fuzzy. :)

They are are also different ratio aspects...aka Full Screen vs Wide Screen.
Also...these are different frames.

Yea.. these aren't the exact same frames. One has Cloud with his hand open and on top of the sword (sword missing one) and the other has his hand slightly below Sephiroth's sword and closed (the one with Cloud's sword). I'm pretty sure nothing was removed/added into either version.
Where did you even find a full frame version of the movie? I thought all releases were 16:9.

The sword was added, i think i could tell when i've watched them both. The first pic is captured from the downloaded japanese version i had, but spotted it on the jaanese DVD i got, the 2nd being capture straight from the English version on DVD. I was watching it in Media player classic, so it was hard to get it exactly on the same frame. All i did for the full frame pic was "save image as" in MPC and thats how it came out. You want me to get a video version of both differences to prove it?
