Except for when stupid people edit Wikipedia, Wikipedia is one of my favourite sites ever. :) But when stupid people do edit Wiki... (http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2005/12/16)

silly edits won't last too long since it can take as little as a minute for the edit to be deleted. So much for that joke

I just finished a report on President Nixon, and I have to say the Wikipedia was very helpful. Saved me from having to dig my actual encyclopedias out of my shed. :)

I usually don't look for "funny" edits though.

I was forbidden from using wikipedia for my junior paper.
And then I didn't do my junior paper and I failed English.

I was checking for updates on the new game consoles in their wikipedia entries, and someone had put "origami kid owns you all" on the Xbox360 page.

I've had professors who have specifically stated that they don't want to see Wikipedia used as a secondadry source in our papers.

Wikipedia is cool. The most interesting thing I found out from it is that Birdo (one of characters you see in mario golf, mario tennis, etc.) may be the first transexual game character in the world.
