Lol. My friend is the opposite..the bodies are too small and can't do hair so well..I need to teach her how I do it. I have problems with hands, guys, and objects, lol.

My friend has the same problem (bodies too small). He does faces pretty well, and he did a really kickass Naruto drawing once. He also needs to improve hands, I notice he hides them a lot, using any hand hiding clich'e he can.

Lol, I used to hide the hands...but now I try to draw them..but..when I do sideview and I'm supposed to show the other arm...I don't know how to put anything! Lol. >< I'll post more on Monday if I draw some this weekend and get them scanned! ^^

I never hid hands because I figured I wouldn't get any better if I avoided them. Even if they do suck. I should work on that... And eye placement, need to take care of that too.

Hahaha, just keep using them no matter how much you hate them..I used to hate them, too. Oh and a little tip...don't draw the shapes too dark.

Never caredd much about shapes though.I just go straight to the character and draw the hell out.

You know, I just noticed the girl in the second pic (first post) is holding the sword by the blade.

EDIT: Oh, and I do what Mr Omnislash does and for the most part they come out just fine.

That's way better than what I can do, I used to be able to draw characters from Tiny Toons, hey that gives me an idea to start a new thread!
