I'd say 96%...There are a few still worthy of listening to every now and again.

It's just you who lack the ability to look beyond MTV.

Of course there are good ones, you just have to look beyond the ones being shoved down your esophogus.

Can honestly say you've listened to every single metal band between 1995 - present? Every single one?

Its possible, there were some great metal bands that came out in the 90s and I believe Danzig was one of em!(=

Some are alright, but very many aren't. I voted 50/50 since I havn't heard all the new metal stuff.

I, personally, only really enjoy metal that has come out during the 90s and beyond, but I don't listen to that much metal to begin with.

Also, find that almost of the hair-metal and popular metal of the seventies and eighties to be really, really awful. Good for a laugh, though.

Metal has always been po-faced with their "WEROCKHARDER" image, popularised by the magazine Kerrang!. Ultimately, its a couple of bands that try to sound different then their rivals that makes metal a genre still worth listening to.

I tend to listen to Alternative Rock from the 1990's, because it had more variety. If I will delve into metal, I'd listen to NIN and Queen Adreena.

I dunno I like a couple of them. I prefer the bands that chill for a sec then go ape, like system of a down, or slipknot.

I voted whatever the tope one said.

I don't really like metal anyway... But when I listen to Metal, it'd almost always the old stuff.

I love it when people speak like they've heard all music from a set period of time.
