Have you guys ever watched the Mario Bros. cartoon series when it was around? I did I liked those Mario cartoons it's too bad that Mario isn't popular enough to have a cartoon series now-a-days.:(

Did you know that the Mario Bros. cartoon series is on DVD at Best Buy? But...I guess once someone gets to a certain age that person isn't supposed to watch cartoons anymore.

Whatever, I bought it anyway!

The best part... IT HAS THE LIVE ACTION SCENES! So much funnier when you're older. Hahahaha.

I did when it was on GMTV in the early morning along with the Zelda cartoons.

It used to come on after school and when the SNES first came out they had a contest where you call a 1-800 number to try and win a free one every day.

I have a VHS of one of the episodes. I found it in Queens in a 99 Cent Store when I was about 5 or 6? It was about a mermaid trying to kiss Mario.

Yeah, I remember that cartoon. It was cool because it was Mario, but as cartoons go it wasn't really that good. :p

I have a DVD of it with one episode of that and another "DIC" cartoon on it because I got it on a cereal box . I love how poorly the animation is done. In the episode I saw, a few times Luigi's suit spontaneously changed to red, and the colors on the parrot's head continually changed.

I loved it, especially when they played Zelda on Fridays.

Do you guys think Mario should of had a New York accent instead of an Italian accent? I do...I mean I know that Mario was Italian but he grew up in New York so I think that he would develop a New York accent.

Is that the one where there were hordes of koopas who all hated Mario? And one wore sunglasses and one was a girl and was therefore damned hot. I can't remember the others.

Do the Mario! Swing your arms from side to side. Come on, it's time to go. Do the Mario! Take one step, and then again. Let's do the Mario, all together now! You got it! It's the Mario!

I remember when I was little I'd watch that every morning before going to school. They had this block on the air where they either showed the Mario cartoon, Mario 3, Super Mario World, the Zelda cartoon (my personal favourite), and the.... *sigh* Captain N show.

I also remember they had a Megaman cartoon.

By the way, you can also buy the Zelda cartoon on DVD.

The Mega Man one too.

Sadly, I have Mario and Mega Man, all I need now is Zelda....

No wonder I don't have a girl friend, haha

Do you think it would be cool if there was another Mario Bros. cartoon series out there today? And the cartoon series could be based on the Paper Mario video games...

I saw the DVD for this series at Best Buy yesterday but I didn't buy it because it didn't include Zelda. What's up with that?

I've been sorely tempted to get those box sets. My inner geek is demanding it, actually.
