What to name the charaters

When final fantasy 3 shows up in the u.s. or you have the nes rom, what are you going to name the kids.

I'll keep the default names:

Luneth, Arkus, Lephia, and Freyg

My standard naming scheme is Maxx, Cloud, Cecil and Squall. However considering two of the children are going to be female in the DS version, I may have to rethink it. Wait, I don't even have a DS. Forget that plan then.

Yeah, 2 are male, 2 are female. So, I would use:

Except looks generally don't dictate gender in the FF series.

It has been place into print in multiple magazine articles that there are 3 guys and 1 girl in the party. The producer, Tomoya Asano, said so. So its 3 guys, 1 girl. Not 2 guys 2 girls.

In the NES version, I named my characters Adam, Sanji, Chacon, and Rebecca(I pretended the 4th character is a female). But with the DS version, I'm sticking with the default names:)

Once I get the DS Version I'm sticking with the original names. For the original FF3 I called my guys Binard, Jethro, Kelith, and Ivan.

I always name the characters after my friends, - And FFIII (origanally) was all boys so I had my and all my guy friends names down, It was fun, it was like we all were on an adventure since they're all out at college :( - Does anyone else name them after friends?

I did that, although oddly enough I intentionally stopped talking to all of them.

If they don't have defult names i name them Jack (Jack O'Neil) Daniel (Daniel Jackson) Sam (Samatha Carter) and Teal'c.

I dont know yet! It depends on how I feel when I get the game. If am as excited about it as I think I'll end up with "OMFG" "FFIII" "TehR0x0rz" and "JOOOOOOOOOY"

altho for the NES version i named them after me and my 3 closest friends it was Cody(me) Amanda(yea i pretend the mnk and master was a girl haha) Alex(my other friend) And breann(she was the WHM so it looked female like lol)

I named them Andreil, Zanith, Chalor and Ramard in the NES version.

In the ROM I had, one of the characters was "ei" so I got to use Andreil instead of the typical Andrel xD

I'll probably keep their default names in the DS version if I ever get it. As for the NES version, I named them after other FF characters and pretended some were female. In my first game, I don't remember what I called them, though I named the main character Cloud and had him do the finishing blow to the last boss so that Cloud kills Dark Cloud. I'll write the other names later. In my second game, I think I named the characters Auron, Beatrx (Beatrix), Aeris and Golbez.

EDIT: The characters in my first game were Cloud, Zidane, Terra and Cecil.

Since the characters seem to have personalities of their own this time, I'm gonna have to go with the default names. If they were lifeless, though, I'd go with Nico, Nano, Mowse, Miki. That's my FF team. :p
