What was the summon that was summoned that Cloud killed in Midgar? I would say it was Bahamut, but the materia used to summon it was blue and all the Bahamut's are red. Also if it is a Bahamut then which Bahamut was summoned

Probably Square Enix thought that the colour didn't matter. Most gamers (and if you were listening to the script instead of marvelling the graphics lol) would know that it was materia. That's what I would have thought anyway.

All summons come from red, as did this one. Just because we dont see that particular materia being absorbed doesnt mean it wasnt. They use materia of all sorts of colors throughout the film and it only shows the green being absorbed. It's implied that they absorbed the rest. Just as we dont see the Turks being rescued on screen, but we know them to be rescued thanks to Vincent.
And yes, it was Bahamut SIN.

Its Bahamat Sin, Sin was an action doll that Square made beforehand.

At the end Loz and Yazoo have a lot of Materia glowing in their arms. They just didn't show them equipping the summon materia.

Just an addition but as soon as I saw Bahamut Sin I thought of the resemblence he had to Sin in X. At least the head looks like Sin's. Maybe they borrowed a concept from it?

Yeah I noticed that too.Maybe it's a combination between Neo Bahamut(yeah he looks more like Neo than ZERO) and Sin.

Wasn't the huge materia containing Bahumat Zero blue in FF7 so maybe this is why the materia is blue
just a thought.....

About the materia thing, no, it was a green materia. At the end with Yazoo and Loz, you see them using Materia of multiple colors and you see each color separately (purple, green, yellow, etc). The color glowing when Kadaj summons Bahamut Sin is green, implying the use of Green Materia.

it is Bahamut Sin. and i heard that Bahamut Sin was actually a mixture of Bahamut, Neo Bahamut, and Bahamut Zero. has anyone else heard about that. and if you want a action figure of Bahamut Sin, go to Rhinos Video Games. They have the huge ass figures for like 35 dollars. They are really cool. i have one of my own.:choc2:

I never heard about the mixture thing. Curious. Not entirely sure if I believe it though.

i myself always thought it looked like a WEAPON
It's ugly is what it is.
By the way, anyone know WHY it's called Bahamut SIN? Just another name, or is there some kind of meaning?

This is cribbed directly from the Bahamut entry from Wikipedia:
In Final Fantasy VII, Bahamut is also accompanied by three more powerful versions: Neo Bahamut (Giga Flare), Bahamut ZERO (Tera Flare) and, in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, Bahamut SIN. The attacks are named for the SI prefixes for ten to the powers six, nine, and twelve; the third is commonly misread as "Terra Flare" or "Tetra Flare". Also worth noting are that the suffixes and prefix for the variations of Bahamut in Final Fantasy VII and Advent Children are taken from the names of old Japanese fighter planes: KAI Bahamut ("Neo Bahamut"), Bahamut REISHIKI ("Bahamut Zero"), and Bahamut SHIN ("Bahamut TREMOR").
