Do you guys know where I can get an original FFVII (not greatest hits) for a good price online? Thanks. I've been lookin' all over. eBay sucks for that.

Did that (lol). I found one for $249.95 (outrageous). Most I can pay is $50.00. So you know where I can get it there? I want it sealed too.

Amazon has a copy for 54 I think... But it's used. So no sealed n' such. That's probably the best you'll get unless Square re-releases it... A brand new sealed one is going to cost all your money and your house and maybe some organs.

Just out of out of curiousity, why do you want it? As they're exactly the same thing, just with a different cover. The mistranslations and everything are still in the GH if that's why you want a original or such stuff like that. :D

What joker could sell it for over $20 with a straight face? It isn't that rare of a game. :cat: I frequently see ones at my local Gamestop, though I'm sure that differs from area to area. But I'd try finding one at a used game store, if not, the internet. But $50 is just far too much, not even speaking about the ludicrous $250. :cat: :eep:

Just go to a store. Non-Greatest Hits copies of FFVII are ridiculously common.

Because collectors want the original. It's way better. Besides, the original is by Black and is by Squaresoft. The greatest hits is butt fugly green and by Squre-Enix.

Well, I guess its worth $250 for some people to not have a green cover. I'm perfectly fine with my worn out used copy. It functions just fine. And I'm sure someday Square will rerelease the game, its been long enough and they know they'll make good money.

...greatest hits? is that like platinum or something, where it's sold loads, or is it some SE thing?

Yes, Greatest Hits is the American equivalent of Platinum.

i got FFVII for Ł15 on ebay and I'm usually prone to getting ripped off, why don't you search www.ebay.co.uk if you are in the UK?
