What do you think of the Paper Mario video games? Although the two video games have similar stories but with different settings and main villians...I actually like the sequel more than the original because Paper Mario : The Thousand-Year Door made me laugh my ass off.

Is it EVER going to come out on Player's Choice? I can't find 1,000 year door anywhere anymore. I knew I should have got it when it came out.

Most people I know love it, but a friend let me borrow the 1000 Year Door, and honestly I was bored with it.

I haven't played much of 1000 Year Door, but I adored the N64's Paper Mario. :D

Have you ever played the original Paper Mario on the Nintendo 64?

Odd, I just started replaying Paper Mario 2 yesterday. :surprised

Paper Mario is one of my favorite games of all time, and the sequel is very spiffy too.

In fact, it did very recently.

I love The Thousand Year Door. I do plan on downloading the original when I get my hands on a Wii.

Yeah, I thought that one was better but I still wasn't crazy about it.

I thouroughly enjoyed Paper Mario and Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door. Thousand Year Door did a great job of taking the innovative battle system from the first game and making it a hell of a lot deeper. It's possibly the best RPG for the Game Cube. I should replay it.

I really liked Paper Mario : 1000 yr door...but I am old school and I LOVE the original Super Mario RPG for SNES. Its GREAT...but yea, 1000 yr door was awesome. I never beat it but I got pretty far. It was so funny.

Are they as good as Super Mario RPG? I don't have a Gamecube, but I do own a N64.

No, it's not as good as SMBRPG, but it's still very fun. I didn't even know there was a PM2 though....:cat: Still, I loved the first one. :cat:

Um...they're ok. SMRPG was an original and it was awesome..I guess its good though. The graphics really are like paper though and sometimes its confusing but they story is pretty good. Same "Stars" thing...'cept in PM2 you get abilities when you get stars (I don't remember PM1)

You get abilities when you receive stars in the original Paper Mario but...You don't have to press the buttons on the controller in the correct order to use the abilities.

The star abilities in PM 2 are much better than the ones in PM 1.

Which Paper Mario do you think has the better music 1 or 2? My vote goes to Paper Mario 2...

The music that's playing in the backround, when Mario leaves Rogue Port, with Princess Peach is awesome in my opinion! Also I think that the music that's playing in the backround, when you're fighting the Shadow Queen, is better than the music that's playing in the backround when you're fighting Bowser, in the original Paper Mario

I actually prefer the final boss music in 1 to 2.

I don't like the final boss music in Paper Mario 1...It sounds like country music and I'm not into country music.:eep:

The Circuit City close to where I live has Paper Mario 2 for only 15$ and I thought it was a good deal, but was wondering if it would be worth it to buy the game. I had the first Paper Mario for the N64 and really liked it.

If you're not sure that Paper Mario 2 is worth it...You should rent it from Gamefly.com or Blockbuster.
