It means that when you are the last poster in a thread, don't post again if you have something to add to your statement. Use the "Edit/Delete button" instead, next to the "Quote" button in the bottom right corner of your post.

While it takes 3 seconds to merge two posts, it saves the CKs and the powers that be the three seconds they have spent on fixing your double post, when they could have been destroying spam. It's generally not a good thing to double post, but in certain cases, it is necessary; legal double posting mostly used in the Art forums.
