Topic: why do these things always sell, and secondly, are they really haunted, and three how do I find out whether or not anything happens to the winner?

I cant believe there are 56 bids on this thing?! I dont want to say anything nasty about it, this bear may sense evil thoughts. But it is scary looking.

All I know is that I want this damned thing out of my house. Something is dreadfully wrong with this bear. I never used to believe in powers of darkness, but now I do. If you are willing to buy it, please let me know. I take no responsibility for what may happen afterwards and for god's sake don't keep it anywhere near children. The lingering presence is still in my house to some extent and I need to get the source out.
lol. How do they know the bear is the source of evil? They may be living on an old Indian graveyard!?

that thing does not look scary!! its a bear, they must of done something to that picture! i mean, why would they photograph a bear, unless they were going to alter it and make it look scary then sell it for $820! and they said they really wanted it out, if you really wanted to get rid of i, wouldn't you sell it for something cheap?

but then again, if it were only about $10 i'd buy it.

It should be noted that he listed it for $2.00.

I shone the light into the door and pulled it open. I swear to god I'm not crazy, and this is what I saw. There below me on the steps was Baron slowly walking up on two legs, one of my kitchen knives in his paws, scraps of other animals hanging off him. I yelled at the top of my lungs and shut the door, but it bounced back open.

That's the part that really convinced me he was telling the truth.

This man is a genious. And that's genious with a "J."

Seriously, it's very simple to dupe stupid people into wasting their money (in this case, $800 some dollars) on common items. Someone sold a half eaten sandwich on eBay for close to $10 or something. This proves that there is a market for everything. Even haunted demonic bears.

I wonder how much a "haunted" stuffed Polar Bear would fetch. I may have to get into this lucrative business.

Oh, and that could SO be turned into the script for an actual horror movie. Not a particularly good one, but one nonetheless.

EDIT: Listening to this (http://208.49.149.120/files/jukebox/thief/[LGS%20Fanmix%20-%20Picklocke]%20-%20Thief%20-%20Haunted.mp3) makes it much more fun to read, in my opinion.

Q: You should send the bear to Chuck Norris, He'll know what to do. Or maybe you could send it to some orphans, that'd be awesome.
A: Chuck Norris pees sitting down in the presence of Baron.

After reading his entire story, it sounds as if this man has been watching a little movie from the 70's called The Devil's Gift.

Also, if the bear is as evil and bloodthristy as he suggests, then why make a hilarious myspace account for it? He also seemed to have a pretty genuine sense of humor about the whole situation in his QnA thing on the ebay page. If a stuffed animal wanted my blood on it's hands, I would not be making light of it. I'd be institutionalizing myself.

Some of that is actually well written, and could make a fairly creepy novel. An 800 dollar novel? No.

I'm sure it's not only Americans.

In any case, I lol'd at the story. That guy's making a nice chunk of change for a ratty old bear, more power to him. It's like the lady that sold a bowl of Apple Jacks for like $1.2k USD, before the superbowl because it supposedly had the Eagles helmet emblem in it.

I don't think this is a situation where many people are trying to buy the bear because they feel it's haunted, they're probably buying it to say "You remember that haunted bear guy on eBay a couple years back? Well..."

Its just a bear.. thats like being afraid of chucky... which is actually more than a comedy than a horror movie imo.

Besides, maybe the guy took it down himself, he was probably like "Wow 800.00 , wonder if I put the title as he's famous i can get over 1 grand"

Basically, he made it famous, now he'll attempt to get more out of it.

I saw that this afternoon. I added "Baron" on myspace. "Baron" posted a bulletin late last night urging "female fans of Baron please visit my page." I laughed ridiculously hard. Seriously, this guy is funny.

As for the auction being pulled, this doesn't surprise me. I like the re-listed title.

This reminds me of an auction that I saw around the time the XBOX 360 was released. Someone put a "box" up for auction. Of course, no one read the entire description of the "box," and they were disappointed to discover that the "box" in question was an ACTUAL box. And, as the user himself said in the item description, "this isn't even the official 360 packaging! It's a box I made myself, just 5 minutes ago!" The ending bid was close to $600.

But back to Baron, I think the guy is funny. Someone that was bidding on the item or someone that knew what this guy was up to probably reported it to eBay.

Chucky has always been scary cause its a doll. The last thing you suspect ti be evil is something you have close to you. Anyhoo, he said that Ebay removed it, but he has placed it back on auction claiming he has broken no rules and will only tell the final chapter of Baron after the bear has been sold. The bear is now famous according to him.

Wasn't supposed to be offensive, however, it is a true fact that most girls would be afraid of a horror film more than a guy would, so there isn't really anything offensive about it. Being afraid of chucky and not something more "real" ? Quite strange, considering chucky flys through the air like "arghhhhh get over here!" then the girl being chased "ahhhh*trips on a cabinet and falls on my ass* ohh noooo my ankle! noooo don't stab me!!!"

Its simply hilarious.

If this auction doesn't sell, I will list a fourth and final auction. For your information, this is all the description it will have:
