you spend two hours + writing up a post or starting a new thread.
when suddenly, you add in your thread/comment and it doesnt send.
causing you to have to give up/start again.
this happened to me 5 seconds ago.

happened to me once. If it's really long then I copy it first and paste later if necessary

If your talking about when you spend too long writing a post and when you submit it you get the "your not logged in" sign, then yeah it use to happen to me alot and it's so annoying. . I don't know how to paste, so if i'm writing a long post i just do what vandal said and preview it every 10 to 15 minutes, then it works fine. :p. The smilies in the more box annoy me, most of the time they just don't work. :eep:

This never happens to me because I do long posts in Notepad and then copy/paste. :)

Yeah last time this happened I got so angry that I kung-fu chopped my monitor in half, set fire to my family then shot myself.
I don't think i've ever made a post that took longer than 5 minutes. One that lasted two hours would make me fear for my sanity.

I avoid all this frustration by having someone else type for me.

When I push back it's all still there and I just click the button to send it again.

i never made a thread/post that was 2 hours long. but it is a nuisance, when the browser doesn't respond or blanks out. suprisingly when i log back in, i find the posts actually made it anyway. refreshing the page is a good idea, but it doesn't always work...

You can always click the "back" button and all of your text should be there again, if not make sure you copy everything you type before posting a thread or post:choc2:
