Including the mid-90s when everything was perfect.

I got through more paragraphs than I thought I would before I stopped caring entirely. If there's an interesting point to the article, please state it so I can stop skimming over car names that mean nothing to me.

Glorious stuff:D

Quite heartening to know that there are people in the US who recognise a Bentley when they see one...

I've got a soft spot for rare and exotic vehicles. We see very few high-price supercars here, so they're always something of a treat for a low-level car nut like myself.

How can you not recognize a bentley? Masterpieces.

I can easily see how a Hindu who regularly engages in brazen idolatry could get behind this, but I'm against the materialistic deification of cars going on there.

materialistic deification
I don't see how you intended to use that word without expecting it to get read wrong.

Who cares about cars when there's good quality jet aircraft at your local military airstrip?

I only worship one thing. Myself.

Quoted for truth. Cars are ok - and if you get a really nice one it's a hell of a thing, but only the very best ones can actually match jet fighters and whatnot.

I prefer laughing at old banged up cars, always driven by boy-racers.

The best news ever was years ago, in the 50's or something, on the BBC when the announcer said 'There has been no news today. Here is some music'.
I remember it personally, being 4000 years old. I listened it to on my talkie-box.

wow. "Bentley! Bentley! Flying Spur!" is the randomest phrase ever.
