ive started this thread as a place to put your ability combos for maximum damage. E.G. beserker with double hand( which believe me is very useful.) or lvl2 old or black shock combined with level 5 death. what are your best combinations?

X-Fight, Double Sword, Ragnorok, Brave Blade.
EDIT: Combined with Bolt3 Sword against Omega

double sword with the lancer ability. that way you do big damage along with healing.

Master Ninja (so Bare class has auto 2-swords)
Bare class with Sshot(X-fight) 2-sword and Time6
Cast Quick, use Sshot twice = X16 attacks
Mime equiped with Summon, Redx2(X-magic) and Time 6
Cast Bahamut, cast Quick, Cast bahamut, cast bahamut, Mime = 5x summons
A party equipped as either of those two can destroy almost anything (exeption is Omega)
Rune axe in 2-hands combined with Monk ability "Store" is an ALMOST garanteed 9999HP attack. It's nice hitting Shinryu for that kind of damage :D

Anything that can get you sword dance and get it often.

bare job class+ double hand+ sword dance equipped with a sword or axe or bare with a powerful weapon, double hand and store.

Bartz - Lancer with Equip Sword ability
Reina - Time Mage with Mastered White Magic ability
Galuf/Krile - Summoner with Mastered Black magic ability
Faris - Ninja with Store ability
These aren't the best combinations, but it gets the job done. Plus, it's my first time using these combinations

I'm not that far in the game, but Ninja with Sword magic is good so far.

GilToss sucks. I must not be using it right, or I don't have enough Gil, but it does about 2000 damage a use. Omg. I'd rather do ~6-7,000 with Fuuma Shuriken Miming a piece then wasting my Gil. What is the formula that determines Giltoss damage? :cat:
Still, the outrageous X-Magic Quick Mime Power Spell is the best damage dealing combo of abilities. I still am comfortable with Mime/Throw though.

how much money do you have? It was doing about 6000 when I tried it in a pinch:]
I mean, it's not like the game has you hurting for money, I've got about 1.6million gil now in the Void.

Well, I don't remember how much I had, but it was like 100,000 or so. Like...the second or third world. I don't really remember, it has been too long since I've played this game. :cat:

Maybe you just need to battle more :D i had about 700,000 at the beginning of the third world ^_^

I'm could've sworn $-toss/Giltoss was inflicting 3000-6000 damage regardless of my financial situation.

fight some movers in the N-zone near the end and youll get 150,000gil every time you beat them. you also get a handy 199ABP. also. what does hermes ring do. auto haste or something?
