do you usually have a fair movie experience at theatres or are there usually kids running around or people just being real jerks?

The less people are there, the more quiet it usually is. I don't go to the theatre very much anymore, but when I do go it was usually to catch a movie nearing the end of it's theatre run.

Sadly my audience werent silent for Silent Hill. Mainly it was boys prating about or girls going "Ewww!" I use to enjoy the atmopshere the cinema audience gave, but that was the first time in a long time I'd been to the cinema, last time was for Star Wars Episode 3! And that was a horrid audience.

Chavs put me off going to the cinema so much. And yes before people defend them, its always them. When I go no one has the balls to say anything to them and let them get away with it. Its arrogant and I cant understand why they will pay for a ticket, then ruin the film for themselves and others. Its selfish behaviour.

The best experince I guess was the opening night of Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban. The kids were silent and didnt make a peep, it was the adults getting shushed by their own children. Was fun.

What the crazy is a Chav?

Anywho, yes my theatre experiences all suck... I'm too cynical for large groups anyway :( I want my innocence back... do any of you know where it is?

I hate most movies these days. Most movies are a commercial charade wrapped in stereotypes and re-hashed plots. There are lots of sequels to bad movies, lots of remakes of bad movies, movies that are supposedly original but really based on the same old formula, and maybe one or two movies a year that I actually think are worth the money. Otherwise, I read. Books are rarely boring or unorginal. Movies are 90% of the time these days.

I don't go to the theater myself. I'm just not impressed by the big screens, so I have no reason to. Save myself some money and always wait for rental. I'd rather be at home cozy and chillin in my pajamas watching a movie than in some uncomfortable chair 2 inches away from some person I don't know having to listen to them talk about how much they love their smoochie pie.

Although, I do admit, nothing beats theater popcorn.

Most of the time I am fine. I have this great ability to just tune out the rest of the world and become entranced by the movie.

Yeah, I usually like it, but have some bad incidents. People tend to go into a-hole mode during movies. For example, I went to a movie with a friend, and there we saw two of our other friends and wanted to sit with them. The problem was, there was only one open seat next to them. We politely asked the people next to them if they could move down one, and they went off on us.

"Umm... no?" (Me)

I go to Matinees. Usually there's not many people there, and the people who are are pretty quiet.

What the crazy is a Chav?
This is the most famous chav site I know of:
ChavScum (http://www.chavscum.co.uk/)
Everything you didnt want to know about them. What they do at cinemas is buy a ticket, then ruin the movie for themselves and everyone else by throwing food at each other and complete strangers, shouting at each other and have chats on their phones to other mates. God they annoy me and my whole family are chavs. Im the only non chav member and Im damm proud!

That would depend on what time I go and what movie I'm watching. Most of the time I never have any problems.

It is usually good. I choose seats pretty close to the front, so that i have a minimum of people in front of me,. In addition to that, I can only see the screen and nothing else, so I get really into the movies.

I can count the number of times I've gone to a movie theater with two hands.

I usually have a good time, even when there are a few annoyances. I actually prefer to be in a room with a bunch of noisy people than almost completely alone with one or two other people. That's always a little creepy for me.

Little kids are usually the ones who can annoy me, but during Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, I think it was, this little boy sitting next to me kept talking to me and asking me questions. If he had been anyone else, I probably would've been really annoyed, but he was too adorable! I can't remember the things he said right now, but I remember them being cute. XD

My friend, however, gets frustrated with noisy people, and especially little kids, way easy. Because of that, we don't see kiddy films as often as we used to. Sucks. We love kiddy movies.

I dislike some theaters (such as the Edwards/Regal in my hometown) due to insufficient audio/video equipment. I prefer very high grade audio and clear video.

I always have a bad time at the theater. Most of the time the sound is too loud and I get frustrated and lose my concentration. Sometimes I get confused to where I'm at and that puts me off. I guess there has been a rare occasion when I've had a good time. I can't remember, though.

I alway's forget the movies I watch at the Cinema, due to not being able to consentrate and too much noise. So I don't go anymore.

I prefer quiet and peaceful at the Cinema. I pay to see, and enjoy, a good movie. I don't pay to see some immature jerks acting it out! Peace and quiet is the best.

It's pretty rare that I have any real bad experiences. Some are kind of amusing, actually.

I've never been overly keen on movie theaters, but LotR:FotR traumatised me. I mean, you can't go TWICE in a film, so after having gone once in the first hour and needing to go again twenty minutes later, I thought, "Oh well, how much longer can it be? I'l just hold it."

TWO AND A FREAKING HALF HOURS LATER IT FINALLY FINISHES! TWO AND A HALF HOURS OF MY BOWELS STAGING A REBELLION AGAINST THE REST OF MY BODY. I even almost used my freaking coke cup to piss in but I wussed out of it! DAMN YOU PETER JACKSON! DAMN YOU STRAIGHT TO HELL!

...best damn piss I ever had though.

Unfortunatly my fiance and I like to see movies the day they come out. So we normally end up going to the local theatre on a friday night with all the teenagers. FLOCKS of them. I don't understand the point of going to see a movie with 20 people, paying 9.50 to get in, and talking through-out the entire movie. Then we always have that one person who stomps up and down the stairs all through-out the movie.

We've been trying to go saturday afternoons, or random days during the week. It's a lot quieter when it's mostly older people in the theatre. This friday should be fun for X-men. *crosses his fingers*

It sucks having to get up for the toilet, cause when you come back in your pupils are like 'wtf' because of the extreme light change and you can't find where you were sitting.

A bird really did fly in and crap on my face, no joke.
Anyhow, I hate going to the movies nowadays, everythings completely overcharge, I usually just smuggle in like 2 drinks and some other stuff, or i stuff my self with supper before going. I wish the cinemas were like the ones in germany where you can buy beer though, thats usually not overcharged over there. Im sick of drinking Sprite and Coke everytime I go there, which isnt a lot anymore.

I usually just watch other peoples dvds, or if there really is a movie that I love, I buy it myself. If I cant wait but dread going to the cinema, I download (yes I am in the same league as rapists and murderers here).

I don't go too often anymore because the prices are ripoffs, not to mention a bunch of little kids a row or two near me that like saying how awesome/funny/scary a certain part is and the way they talk almost make me want to turn around and yell at them to shut up.
