It was bloody amazing. Who else watched it?

I missed a bunch of episodes this season 'cause I have class Monday nights, but I thought the season finale was kind of dumb. The whole President admitting everything in "private" to his wife was dumb and expected. Then the whole Chinese embassy arc... urgh. Doesn't Jack get any freaking rest? He's with Audrey for like a minute and then he's taken by the Chinese government. It's too much. I wish they would have ended the continuity between last season and this one and just started a new plot for next season.

Agreed on that point. The only thing I really liked about this season was the fact that the Chinese took Jack. Everything else was pretty boring and predictable. No shocking events or plot twists. If it hadn't been for that ending I'm not sure I'd be interested in next season at all.

I think it's freakin' awesome that the next season is gonna take place in China (or at least, it looks like it'll take place in China). No more zipping around Los Angeles in 15 minutes! I think it'd be a nice change.

He'll still find a way to get around in 20 minutes. :p

I for one bloody loved it. :D
Yeah and the possibility of some of it being in china sounds appealing. That would definitely require an extra mile trying to operate under the chinese army. I just hope this show doesnt cause any trouble.

I thought the ending was great simply because the next season is sure to be very different and fresh--something needed for 24.

I hated the ending. This was a bit too much going on in 7 minutes even for 24. Within 7 minutes the Chinese manage to drag Jack away, beat the out of him and talk to him for 2 minutes and are already well on their way to China. That goes a bit too far even for 24.

Other than that...every thing else was going according to plan and it just gets wrapped up. It was nice that it happened the way that it did. I don't need every episode being a super plot twist. By having all the twists come hours ago they were able to focus on wrapping things up instead of having to explain what ever the new twist was.

Its true that that bit was a bit ridiculous concerning the time. I wasnt even 7 minutes, by the time they put him in that dark room, hes already on the ship, which is like 4 minutes since he talked to Audrey.
Still, I liked the end ^^

I agree and I hope that's what happens. I'm sick of the 'various terrorist attacks threaten the world and only Jack can save us' structure. The first season had a very innovative and well-developed plot and I hope they can get back to that in season 6. Not holding my breath though.

Other than that the finale was pretty predictable. This season was entertaining but nothing special.
