I was having a stupid arguement with my friend about whether it is better to fight with valor or fight with honor.

i believe it is better to fight with honor

Screw both and go in with a dynamite belt that will go off the moment you die. Make sure it has enough power to blow at least one block.

Fighting with valour is like that guy at the [insert name of fighting game] machine who REFUSES to use lows or unblockables or ring outs or time outs to win, prefering to fight "honourably". He only preaches this because deep deep down, he knows he sucks.

Valour ftw.

Kishi got it right.

But of the two, honour, of course. 'Honor' just looks so wrong. Looks like it should be read 'Hoe-norr'. To rearrange the spelling of honour is some kind of blaspheme, I'm sure, but it's fun to say "Americans have no honour."

You fight to win. If it's for anything else, you're doing it wrong. No honor or valor in that.

Honouuuuuuur and valouuuuuuur are pretty much the same, or at least the two ideas are so closely connected that they can't really exist without each other.
So what did you mean?

Anyway, padmash. The key to victory!

Fighting for something is different to fighting with something. I asked for what you fight with.

c) moneyThere is no C.

"Honor", because of the Medal of Honor series. Apparently you get "Honor" if you run around shooting Germans in the crotch, and I don't know about you guys, but that's my kind of party.

Valor. But valor is so closely connected to honor, that it's pretty frivolous.

In actual situations, say WWII people didnt fight with anything like that, they took any chance they had to stay alive, even if that means stabbing in the back or anything.

Fighting with either of those two is virtually indistinguishable. Fighting for either of those two are very different.

I'd fight with whatever dirty tricks I could get together. The only reason for fighting is to win, so I'm not going to mess around with silly ideals that could cripple my chances of victory.
