<<i></i>Neel> Hey BoB, you heard of Danny Bhoy?
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> Comedian? Yeah.
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> He comes here every August.
<<i></i>Neel> Yeah, he was just here.
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> Haven't seen him yet though.
<<i></i>Neel> I suggest it.
<<i></i>Neel> It was dope
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> Is that good?
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> Or bad?
<<i></i>Neel> Dope is good man!
<<i></i>Shauna> I've never heard anything get described as dope. xD
<<i></i>Neel> Dope is sick
<<i></i>Neel> Dude, I just had some dope <b>[excrement]</b>
<<i></i>Neel> See? I used 'dope' to describe '<b>[excrement]</b>'.
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> That's totally vomit, man.
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> Weed up.
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> ?
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> You young'ns.
<<i></i>DarkCloud> no BoB
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> I'll never understand!
<<i></i>Shauna> xD
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> I never really got the hang of 'sick' either. I mean, this is the internet.
<<i></i>DarkCloud> that <b>[excrement]</b> is trip :D?
<<i></i>Neel> sick is tight
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> People who describe things as 'sick' when referring to them as 'cool' should not be online.
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> They should be out skating or surfing or snowboarding.
<<i></i>Neel> you're right, because they have real people to talk to
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> Yes.
<<i></i>Neel> yeah, well, some of us surf to school, okay?
<<i></i>Neel> so be considerate
<<i></i>Neel> thx
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> Online, you call it "kew" or "1337", right?
<<i></i>Neel> No dude
<<i></i>Reine> surf to school
<<i></i>Reine> lol
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> I forget.
<<i></i>Neel> you call it what you like.
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> Oh.
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> I just say 'cool'. Is that still 'cool'? :(
<<i></i>Neel> Yeah, but it's only cool
<<i></i>Reine> totally
<<i></i>Neel> it's nothing more than cool
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> Sometimes I even use the proper words. You know. Like 'good' or 'great' or 'awesome'.
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> I use 'awesome' a lot, actually.
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> Oh!
<<i></i>Reine> same here :/
<<i></i>Neel> k i'm bored
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> And sometimes I say 'classic'.
<<i></i>Neel> text twist
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> Because I'm a 'kiwislut'.
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> Apparently.
<<i></i>Reine> XDD
<<i></i>Reine> Yes BoB
<<i></i>Reine> your stealing my way of speech now are you :(
<<i></i>Shauna> I say 'class'. I guess it could be something like classic. Except... Scottish-ised? *shrug*
<<i></i>Reine> class sounds more british
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> Scottish-ised. xD
<<i></i>Reine> Then agin my britishmates say it a lot
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> I say 'it' once in a while.
<<i></i>Shauna> So, it's all over Britain then. Right. :D
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> When the sentence requires 'it'.
<<i></i>Reine> Ive said it once or twice
<<i></i>Reine> Something like that "Now thats pure class"
<<i></i>Shauna> pure class. xD I hate when people use 'pure' all the time.
<<i></i>Shauna> "and then I was pure walking down the street, when this guy pure came up to me..."
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> Where does corncracker live?
<<i></i>DarkRoo> pure genius.
<<i></i>DarkCloud> safe
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> 'mink'
<<i></i>DarkRoo> sale
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> 'mink' is totally Dan's word.
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> I think he used to say pure a lot too.
<<i></i>DarkCloud> init
<<i></i>Reine> Shauna, peopl talk like that? ROFL
<<i></i>DarkRoo> innit
* Loony_BoB rocks out to the Muppet Show theme song.
<<i></i>Reine> *people
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> Reine, you need to hear Dan talk.
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> that was pure mink, proper ghetto man
<<i></i>Reine> wtf XD
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> <<i></i>3 Dan
<<i></i>Shauna> :D
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> haha
<<i></i>Reine> Now that a new speech pattern XD
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> I should have said tht the other way around
<<i></i>Loony_BoB> 'pure ghetto' x)

What odd words do you use to signifiy a positive thing (eg. cool, mink, etc.)?

I never said pure, although Mink is used a lot, yes. Proper also, and ghetto. In fact the whole title. This thread is suave, man.

You kids are so out of touch. "Skeen" is the way to go nowadays. xD

The classics are the best, though. Awesome, phat, fly, rad and tubular are my personal faves. Awesome is the only one that comes out online, though.

oh, danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling!

I typically use "sweet", "awesome", "coolio", "amazing", "good", "phit", "safe", "sick", "mad nasty", etc. pretty common words, for the most part.

"Pure class". eew. :eep:

We say 'spiffy/spiffing', 'dandy', 'shiny' (Firefly. Hurray!).
Except... I guess I know I sound stupid. Stupid, but clever.

XD @ the title. I've heard "Proper ghetto" so many times.

Because I'm easily influenced, "suave" has grown on me quite a lot. Mostly I use "suave", "rad", "nifty", "awesome" and "neato". Neato not so much anymore, I should start using it more often. ;D

I just say "cool" or "awesome." All of those other words are just too out there for me. Once in awhile I will say sweet, but not seriously.

If something really impressees me, I might say "It's alright", or "It's okay", but usually most things are met with a resounding "Meh".

If something impresses me, I go: "Huu-Wow!" or "Superyay"
If something bores me to tears, I say: "Korni-Soli-Bayad." (Corny! I want my money back!)

:( Foreign language anyone?

Mittopotahis

Usually just 'awesome' or 'cool'.

My friend is (was?) trying to get 'puff' to start up again. So I use that sillyly.
