VI, although I remember looking for IV EVERYWHERE back when it was still II for the SNES. I was so happy when VI came out (or III, whichever you prefer). Played that game for quite some time before finally beating it.

FFVI back in the day when it was FFIII.

My cousin's left the game over when they visited when I was 8, little did I know my and my little brothers lives would completely change from that game. I didn't beat it until getting it for Christmas a year later. I might have actually done something productive with the past 11 years of my life if not for that game.

Instead though my passion for games began and lets just say FF IV and Mystic Quest were not far behind (as well as many SNES Squaresoft masterpieces).
