No, you aren't the only one, although as a guy, I don't look at the male characters that way. But I just talked with a girl who said she thinks some characters can actually be very good-looking (she especially liked Squall), and I know a few other girls who also like how FF males look. Besides, if guys can look at FF girls, why can't girls look at FF boys? ;)

Thank you! I was so teased by my guy friends for liking Squall and Solid Snake, but when Id mention they like Lara Croft, they;d be like, shes totally different though. And their reason would be that she can be made real ... of course any games characters can be made real, eg cosplay. But they wouldnt be 100% spot on looks wise.

But cosplayers make a mockery of the character 95% of the time! And it is becoming popular for fat girls with no boyfriends to dress as Squall.

Having a crush on a celebrity or an animated character makes no difference, you won't end up with them anyway, so it's one of those impossible crushes. :p So no matter whether you're crazy for Angelina Jolie or Lara Croft, or whether you're crazy for Quinton Flynn or Reno, you still can't get them. I don't think it's weird or wrong to have impossible fantasies, but it may not be a good idea to try and make those fantasies become reality. :D

Oh Lord, forgive us. You know in this day and age I thought people were allowed to like whatever they please. Yeah I find them attractive, but thats where it ends. I dont plaster my home with Lara Croft merchandise or obsess over Tifa hentai, trust me those people do exsist. Thats going over the line IMO and Im no where near it. I simply think they are attractive characters. You must be the only person on the planet who doesnt like something thats a fantasy.

First of all, in all reality, you know that they aren't 90% plastic, not even 15%. Second most of them don't even get plastic surgery (guys at least).

Who said "I'm" the one deciding what is normal. Don't make it look like i'm the only one who thinks this. Many many more people think what i think. If you don't believe me, go take a survey (not on the forum) and see how many people agree with you.

Of course I can see why one ff character would have an attraction to another ff character because of looks, but I myself am only attracted to real people.

Too answer your second question, i'll give you an example. I don't think Lara Croft is hot in the videogames. But lara croft in the movies played by a real person who would actually look like her sorta (:D Angelina Joelie:D (sp.)) i would get with her in a second.

I defenetly find the guy's in AC hot ^_^ And, you know, video game characters are modeled after real people. Squall, for instance, as we all know was modeled after Gackt, who is a real man, though at times he can seem very unreal. I find both Gackt and Squall to be very attractive, but that really holds no weight. I will never meet Gackt, or Squall, or Cloud, or Reno, but I don't really care, they still look very cool, and very cute, and I don't think they care if people oogle them, so I'm not about to stop anytime soon XD

Hell, MOST of the male cast was good-looking, maybe with the exception of Kadaj and Yazoo (both were too girly). Even Barret was hot, not Mr. T-like (like he was in the game).
