So this song (the most l33t song in FFV) is on the OST. I don't know why or when it plays, but I can only hope that it is for the battles with FFXII's rendition of Gilgamesh.

Your thoughts?

Yes, it is, though I don't know where in the story it's in. But you do fight Gilgamesh in the game, with his trademark tune.

im not going to read those spoilers but i would like to know if gilgamesh is in FF12. is he?

Yes, he is. (That's pretty much what the spoiler said.) I do not know what part he plays in the story, or if he's an optional boss. Perhaps a member who's played FFXII already can tell us?

There's a rather big video of the fight at Holystar (http://www.holystar.ch.vu), along with Omega and the other FFXII optionals. (Beware, pretty big vids.)

Remix version definitely sounds nice :p .psf2 files are good since I can listen to it on loop :D

It's pretty obvious this is a way to hook in the old school players.

Gilgamesh...

He is a medium to difficult clan mob hunt (Mysterious Man). You fight him multiple times from as early as lvl 40s to 80s before finally bringing him down, stealing good equipment each time. Enkidou is back along with Gilgamesh too.

Being a mob hunt, he's totally optional to the story.

I love the tune.:D
