Who here plays poker? Don't you think we should organise a poker night/tournament? Has anyone else ever tried this? How long can I go asking questions? Will I ever use a standard period?

Playing poker online without webcams is the dumbest idea ever. It removes almost all of the actual point of the game. It's kinda hard to pick up on a tell if you can't see the sodding person XD

I play online poker occasionally, and you can get a lot of information from players based on their bet amounts, their response times, etc. Granted it's not as effective as looking someone in the face, but...calm down already.

I'll leave this for a few days to see just how many people wish to join in. By the way I'd like to know now what type of poker people would prefer to play. I personally prefer Draw Poker but I'll go with what the majority prefers. See here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_poker_variants) for a semi-complete list.

O and one other thing, there is to be no exchange of actual money. Legal reasons, I'm sure you understand. :)

Good question. It will have to be somewhere relatively neutral. I'm currently looking into some Online Poker Rooms that may be suitable. However if anyone has a really sparkin' idea for a place to use then let me know ASAP.

My boyfriend plays Paddy Power Poker and its 10p per game and he has won alot of cash that goes into his PayPal account. He loves it, I myself cant get into it!

I use UltimateBet, myself. It's a good program, however I don't know how we all get into a table together as it places you at a table randomly. So yeah. nevermind.
