I'm trying to explore that cave, but I'm still don't get the rid of it

Can someone, in simple words explain how we walk there??

When you approach one of the walls, it will give you a number on the screen. Then, it will give you a set of instructions, such as a simple math determination. Go onto the next wall, and then follow the pattern until you get the prize, the Force of Nature Accessory.

e.g., say the first number you start with is 6.
When you approach the wall, it will say "divide your number by 3."
So, you take your current number (6), and divide it by 3, and you get 2.
2 is now your "current" number. Rinse and repeat.

Some of the puzzles can be rather difficult, such as "divide the number by how many battle you fought in the Caves thus far." This will either force you to do some creative memorization, or to equip a Charm Bangle. Fortunately for you, it is SIMPLE math, arithmetic and basic algebra only.

It won't ask you to divide by ANY number that might equal zero, (such as battle fought thus far, or last number in your GIL savings if it equals zero), or to determine the Sin/Cos/Tan/Csc/Sec/Cot of any number, nor any advanced Calculus problems.

Because people who play FFX-2 and find it fun shouldn't even be considering Calculus as a major course anyways. Apparently, it's supposed to be a "challenge."

When you do this, it is very easy to have a pen and paper, and to list 1-16, and put a + and = sign like there are going to be math problems but the numbers aren't there yet, like so:

1. _______ + _______ =
2. _______ + _______ =
3. _______ + _______ =
......
16. _______ + _______ =

Now, when you first enter, there's a tutorial that means well but sometimes comes up a little short. In this tutorial it gives you a screen with a set of numbers in the lower right corner. The number on top indicates which wall the clue is referring to. The number on bottom is part of a sum (according to the tutorial, it's the second part). The first clue should be "3 ____ ". Let's say it's "3 12". So you go to your paper and fill it in like so:

3. _______ + ___12__ =

Now, find wall 3, it will be a red/pink color on the map. Now, with this wall and every wall afterward except the last one there will be a set of numbers in the upper left and lower right corners. The upper left clue is the first part of the sum that goes with the second part from the clue of the wall before. And the lower right is the second part of the sum for the next wall (I hope that made sense). So lets say when you get to this wall, in the upper left there is "3 5" and in the lower right there is "11 22", you go to your paper and fill it in like so:

3. ___5___ + ___12__ =
11. _______+ ___22__ =

Now, you have both parts of the sum for wall 3, so do the math and you get 17. So, fill it in:

3. ___5___ + ___12__ = 17

The code for wall 3 is now 17, which is the number you input into wall 3. You can forget the clues now, the important number is the code. Now, just repeat this for the rest of the walls.

The clue will get a bit more tricky, and sometimes they will call on the code of previous walls to figure out the clue. Sometimes the clue might just be "12 Code for wall 5", which is simple enough. Other times it might be "16 20640 + Code for wall 7 + Code for wall 9". Cases like this require you to do the math just for part of the sum. And some other times is will call for you to know how many battles you've been in and how much gil you've made, like "8 Code for wall 6 + Battles fought since wall 3 + Gil earned between walls 8 and 5" (the walls don't go in order). With the high enemy encounter rate in this area, keeping up with the number of battle and amount of gil is really tedious, and a simple way around that is to use the Charm Bangle, which makes all battle and gil counts 0.

Hope that helps.

P.S.: If you are using the Charm Bangle, and one of your clues is something like:

Indefinite Integral of Code for wall 8 dx divided by Sine of Battles fought since wall 2, the answer is 1.

In addition. if the number is too high to be recorded by the amount of digits that they give you, input all nines.

Be forewarned; if you get a question that asks for you to prove 2 == 1, I would probably reset the game. Or if it asks you to determine the solution to:

Sin²x + Cos²x = (Tan²x / Csc²x Sec²x)/((Sin²x) ²)

Just remeber that it is an identity, so any value will work if you put it in.

FFX-2 makes education fun.

Don't bother with battles and gil from battle. Equip that "no encounters" thingy and the cave is a cinch!
