how do I upload an image directly from my computer to use as my signature?

Photobucket is rather userfriendly, I think. Make an account, then browse for the picture to upload, and they'll give you several options for sharing it.

Those links on imageshack.com are very deceptive. It is .us though.

Photobucket is great because it has the location already in IMG tags, for lazy people like me.
