How often does Odin/Gilgamesh come to your aid? He hardly ever comes for me, and if he does, it's against a boss and he does Zantetsuken.

I did, however, know a friend who had him come every battle. It really was aggravating.

Same here ... whenever I needed to mug those Marlboro Tentacles, there's Odin, slicing him up and destroying my chances of getting any Tentacles that battle :mad:

He comes fairly often, but not too often...although I was trying to do the Angelo Search thing and get the hungry cookpot...and after a half hour he came and Zantetsukened it....He never comes when Im on an island closest to heaven/hell...its annoying...

You must mean Gilgamesh. Odin will either come at the beginning of battle or not at all. Gilgamesh can appear at any point during the battle.

Odin/Gilgamesh are never a problem for me. They don't appear very much but when they do, they always use the attack that takes 1 HP. Bah, what a waste of animation....

But Gilgy (since Zeromus_X post he's gonna be Gilgy for me for the rest of my life) is quite a bit funnier than Odin.
He came three times in a row in the boss battle against Ultimecia and Griever and always tried to Zantetsuken them.

Yep definately when you want to mug something. He always arrives after my battle with the Ruby dragons (before Bahamut) but its on the first one ~ which I have no problem destroying. I never see Gilgamesh till the final battle. Thats the only time he arrives for me :(.

Odin appears about maybe at an interval of 25 batles or something like that i only saw Gilgamesh when i was fighting Tiamat at Ultimecias castle. The other time were i see him is when Odin dies.

odin comes when i spend a long time looking for adamantoises and finally gets one so i can mug some adamantine>< i hated him for that.

He never came when those little fish things appeared.

I once played and he turned up every few battles.. my last game he only turned up once... to mess up the Adel battle... :mad2:
