anyone play this game on the GBA? i thought the 1st one was very good, but the second one was so hard i found it almost impossible

what did you think of it?

I kind of got into the first one but traded it in before I ever beat it. I really need to stop doing that.

Those are both great games. Probably two of my favorite GBA games of all time. Though I personally thought the second one was easier, or at least the final boss was. It was just long.

Aye, these were two of the best on GBA. I loved the vast customization of classes with the Djinni combinations, and the fact that you could transfer the characters you worked hard on in the first game over to the 2nd. Epic stuff.

Great graphics, enjoyable story, fun characters (if a bit long-winded), puzzles that were actually fun, an overall enjoyable battle system...yeah, I really loved those games. Collecting the Djinn was addictive. :p

I have both ROMs and enjoyed them a lot. Good game.

love them, tons of fun games, the spells working out of battle was cool. Unlike what most people think, it is not the best to keep all the same type of Djinn on a character. Trust me on this one!

I love Golden Sun, my favourite game on the GBA by miles. In fact its probably my second favourite RPG after FF. I really hope they make a third one, rumours were they were gonna make one for the Nintendo DS.

I only finished the first and haven't had a chance to play the second. Really cool games though. :) Would be nice if they made a third one for the DS.

One of my favorite RPGs, although I found them both to be a little short. (I remember saying 'WTF" out loud when I beat the first one.) And, one of my favorite soundtracks. (Sakuraba doin' his little flute/vocals thing he does so well and all. I especially like the themes for the four 'Rocks' of the second game.) Why does he compose for all the games I like...meh.

Was the second one that hard? I remember being stuck on it alot, but once I figured out who to talk to/what Psyenergy I needed, then it was easy. (Figuring out how to get through to Lemuria and how to beat Poseidon was a tough one though.)

Edit: Did anyone else get a kick out of Isaac talking in the second one, after being a silent protaganist? xD
