Quick Question about Metroid Prime

I find it frustrating i can only straife when im locked onto a target. And that i cant look up and lock without stopping. Is their a way i can change the controls format?

Jeez, someones having their period. It's a bit frustrating when the enemies shooting at me and their too high to lock on to and i have to stop and aim. Is their any wasy way to kill an enemy from above without stopping and aiming

And no, you can't really change the control scheme, but Metroid Prime wasn't made to be played like a traditional PC FPS. You just kinda have to adapt to its play style, which is much better suited for it, since it's an action-adventure game and not a shoot-em-up.
