Here at EoFF, as you all know, people who do great service for the site are oft awarded by being given Recognized Member status. Not only that, but people who the Staff see with potential to work well with them are given their shot to join the staff. This award is given out by the public to those extra special members. So, why are they all here? Let's delve deeper.

First up, we have Agent Proto. What can we say about him? Other than having a face that is beautiful on a variety of different pictures, he served the forums well as a staff member, and also runs numerous contests on the forum which are fun for all to get involved in. In short, he is just that Ace. Plus he likes Phoenix Wright so that makes him cooler than people who don't. :heart:

Next up, the delightful ^^~*M0oNLigHt~Rac00n*~<3. Possessor of the most ghetto name to ever grace EoFF (and I'm not even talking about XXXSephirothXXX), she was also once a staffer, back in the olden days. Not only that, but she's just plain cute and we all love her. Psy more than others. Sometimes Twice! And...you know the rest.

Also in the running for this is a very close personal friend of mine, Lambert, Squally Leonharty. Recognized for being a stalwart of the help forum way back when, helping out with any problems he could and generally being helpful, Lambert is also a great friend and a wonderful guy. Plus, his big manly bitchtits are second to none. Oh baby you better believe it. *Cloud pose* FOH TEH LARST TIEM, ITS INDUSTRIALTRAINSTATION, DAMMIT!

Endless is another former staffer, and for Raf can't complain about not getting nominated, because here he is. Another help forum guy, Raf is an affable and friendly guy. Actually, I remember one of my first PM's ever was when I was still a total nublet, and I made a thread asking for help about FFIX and Raf responded, so I PM'd him to thank him. Been helping people out for years, has Raf, and deserves his spot in this award.

Giga Guess is recognized for being one of the overlords of Eizon, and working hard to create the Eizon world. More than that, people recognize his help with Flying Mullet's RPG, his sex appeal and especially are fond of his dry humpings. I KNOW I can't be the only one. If GG wins this award he's sure to be handing out Giga Points like crazy to all of his adoring fans.

Big D is the newest member of the Former Staff group, and his popularity is shown by his being nominated for this award on his first try. Staffed for having a good record, regularly posting in game forums and generally being cool, he won the hearts of many members and all were sad to see him step down. Worth noting that his beard gives RSL's a run for it's money in pure sexiness.

Former Admin ShlupQuack is a well known and popular member of the board. She created the Fluffly Pink forum skin, which is horrific, but some people seem to love it. Notably, she featured her (sadly, clothed) boobies on the original EoFF porn page, and also seems to have some sort of a fling on going with Raisin. With a good sense of humour and blunt, honest personality, Shlup is a great member to have around, and the people have spoken out with this award nomination.

Rounding up the group is the wonderful, the lovely, the delectable and oh so freakin' sexy Ashley, known to most as TheAbominatrix. Recognized for her stellar work with the Eyes on YOU questionnaires, as well as being a top member in the gaming forums, she always stands up for what she believes in and is generally all around a legend. Don't forget, she's sexy. Very sexy. (You love it, Ash. You, me, my winnebago! :jokey:)

While we haven't been as active as we were the six months prior to the last Ciddies, Site Staff has by no means been running low on things to do, and on some occasions we've actually done stuff, too! In all seriousness, I haven't been doing as much myself due to being busy with other things, but I'm proud to say that the team is now working so well that I don't even need to be there pushing at every moment just to get people to be working. The team is so reliable and effective - I love it. The Site Staff is responsible, obviously enough, for keeping the site updated with news and information, and this is what we've been up to in recent times...

News - The past six months have seen some of our news reporters stepping down, but it's not all bad news - top news reporter Azar has continued his excellent work in keeping the us all informed with what's going on. We've also seen the return to action of Strider, who had taken some time off to concentrate on offline affairs, as well as the promotion of my close friend, Kyono. The three of them have combined well and we continue to get updates as they come with regards to developments on all the new Final Fantasy games, including the recent announcement of a set of Final Fantasy XIII games as well as the constant improvements on Final Fantasy XI, not to mention of course the now-released Final Fantasy XII. News reporters are considered by myself to be one of the most thankless tasks there are around this place, so I encourage you all to show your appreciation for their efforts on any occasion.

FanArt Gallery - You'll notice this sitting around the forums index. Samuraid and myself, amongst others, have spent many months looking into getting the old FanArt section on the frontsite upgraded to something new, something better that people can update without the help of someone with FTP access, but at the same time allowing for easy moderation. After working for a long time with various software, we finally decided that we will have to shell out some cash to get something decent. The end result was that money generated from donations and PM-space subscription payments would go towards the FanArt section you see today. A big thanks to everyone who helped out with this.

Vagrant Story - Spatvark has taken it upon himself to put together a completely new gaming section for Vagrant Story, and once again he's done it in incredibly fast time. It isn't live yet, but will be shortly, with about 37 or so PHP pages already uploaded since the last Ciddies! When Spatvark does coding, he really gets going... he's done it all himself, too, as far as I can see. Only Spatty.

FFTA - While this hasn't been moving as fast, the work done by volunteers is well worth mentioning - we've seen work by eternalshiva backed up by non-Site Staff such as TurkSlayer, cl_out, MoonZapdos, ex-Site Staffer Heath, Monster_Hunt and Skyblade. This project has been organised by Spatvark and by next Ciddies we should hopefully have a live section with all their hard work on show. A big thanks to all of those involved!

KH2 - A more recently started project is that of Kingdom Hearts 2, this project being lead by eternalshiva and most of the work has been sorted by Tavrobel, the Best Regular nominee who has already put a lot of time towards improving EoFF, something which the Site Staff and myself will certainly not forget.

FFIV - This is something we really should have finished by now, but admittadly we've been slacking, with the exception of one undead (thankfully!) hero. He's taken it upon himself to code up the final section of EoFF into the new Rinoabella-designed style, and this should be updated before much time has passed.

A big thanks once more to all of those involved with the above projects, and to the wonderful Site Staff who put so much time into EoFF with hardly any reward - you guys (and you too, eternal!) are awesome. You know I can't thank you enough - I try to, but I can't. You're great. Even those of you not yet mentioned have been providing good support, advice and the like, to the rest of us and there's a lot I haven't gone into, but my speech time is running short! The last winner of this Ciddie was Samuraid, who isn't in the running this time - that will give popular choices such as Kyono, Azar and Flying Mullet a good chance, or possibly it might be theundeadhero who will regain his title with Samuraid out of the picture... time to find out!

So I've been asked to be the presenter for the Highwind Award for Best Site Staff. For those of you that are wondering what the Highwind Award for Best Site Staff is, it's an award chosen by Site Staffers for Site Staffers. Basically you, the masses, aren't classified as sentinent beings, and as such, us, the illuminated, illustrious, omnipotent Site Staff must choose who is the true best Site Staffer. :yellowkin

So, what can I say? This Site Staffer is brilliant, hard working, dedicated, washes their hands after using the potty, chews with their mouth closed, is gorgeous, can do a 12" limbo, has buns of steel and always smells of roses. This year's Highwind Award for Best Site Staff goes to one individual who tirelessly and selflessly puts in long hours into making the front site the best it can be. They are not only responsible for some of the newer content that your greedy little eyes can gobble up, but they're responsible for a lot of the existing information on the front site that is now included in various religious texts because of its exudes pure power, truth and shmexyness.

Who am I talking about? None other than Mr. Spatvark of course! So give a huge round of applause, or keyboard banging, for the man who is the very definition of what a Site Staffer should be. How awesome is Spatty? The Knights of Cid are the keepers of the forum, making sure that everything stays in order while he's off pulling swords from stones or finding the Holy Grail or whatever he does. In short, they make sure that no one everyone has fun and, more importantly, follows rules. However, despite their ardent denial of any one Knight being better than the others, you've decided which one is the Best. But before we find out, let's take a look at our contestants. Oh, and this is totally not me sucking up to the Staff. At all. Period.

Behold the Void
Known far and wide for his writing, Behold the Void has been here for nearly three years. He plans to be a writer or journalist, and was one of the main forces in making the RP sub forum. Truly a man without peer, he plans to write a twelve page acceptance speech should he win. While he said that Leeza was the leader earlier (http://forums.eyesonff.com/showthread.php?p=1709909#post1709909), he still plans to usurp her power (whatever that means). Not that being the leader is the same as being the best, I mean look at the X-Men.
Side note: Behold the Void is a Black Mage among the Knights, if the EoFF RPG (http://forums.eyesonff.com/showthread.php?t=83307)is any indication (it is).

Del Murder
As his signature states, Del is the Unofficial Secret Illegal Enforcer of EoFF is dang proud of it. While usually found enforcing something or another, he also manages to make a living as an actuary, and is the love of Miriel's life. Having been here five years as of the 23rd of this month, Del has the experience needed to be a serious contender for this Ciddie.

eestlinc
Hailing from hatlanta, eestlinc leads a double life here at EoFF. A poet who has not shared his work with us for some time, he is also the runner of the EoFF elections, at which time he goes by his alter ego, Election Booth. Despite this, eest often shirks his duty by not banning his second account. Still, his contributions in moderating the forums allow some lee way, so it's all good.

fire_of_avalon
Often found in #eoff, foa is had, at one time, forsaken the forums for the chat room. While normally an unforgivable crime, she soon returned and redeemed herself, winning everyone over with her kind-heartedness and easy-going attitude. She is one of the very few members to have a seat in the winning party in the EoFF Elections two years in a row, and some suspect during this time she became "friendly" with Loony Bob, resulting in her Knighting. However it came about, it can be said with certainty that EoFF is better off with her as a Knight, as she may prove with this Ciddie.

Hsu
Hsu is super, what more is there to say? He can be found in the Help forum often, doing his best to aid those in need of, um, aid. Proudly proclaiming the wise old adage "bake cake get sex", Hsu is also currently in a relationship with another Knight, rubah. Just thought I'd throw that out there. Nevertheless, he stays true to EoFF, keeping the forums clean and well aided.

kikimm
If her current signature is any indication, kikimm is apparently a fan of boxes. Presumably a female, she absolutely loves Trumpet Thief. Not even a Knight for a full year yet, kikimm rose to popularity and has since been working with Leeza, rubah, and foa to get more estrogen in the Knight's, as you can see with Miriel helping to keep EoFF running smoothly.
Side note: kikimm is apparently the White Mage (http://forums.eyesonff.com/showthread.php?t=83307)of the Knights.

Leeza
Another old Knight like Del, Leeza is seen as the matriarch of EoFF. She adores cats and Marilyn Manson, so it can be safely assumed that if she was given Manson's pet cat, she'd have a heart attack and die happily. Luckily for us, this isn't likely to happen soon, and so she can continue grace EoFF with her wisdom and discretion.

Miriel
The second most recent Knight to be promoted, Miriel has done much in the relatively short time she's had. When she's not hanging out here and moderating, Miriel dons the guise of Palindroma, fighting evil-doers with neat words like racecar and dad. She's currently hooked up with Del Murder. It's reported that, when she asked Del if he was enforcing another woman, Del replied "Enforcer? I hardly know her!", thereby giving him his Custom Title.

The most recent fellow to be Knighted (like, a little over a month ago), Psy had his work cut out for him in order to get the Best Knight Ciddie. He managed to get the hang of things quickly and soon became a capable and good moderator, despite his persistent reputation as a shameless spammer, which is debatable at best now. Having won a good number of Ciddies in the past, he's out to prove that experience doesn't mean squat as long as you’re good looking.

Ahh, rubah. Knighted along with kikimm, she rounds out the Femme Five who rule over EoFF. She is also in the second in-staff relationship, with her and Hsu being the two lovebirds this time. A girl from Arkansas, she's sometimes accused of being a bit obsessive, but really, that could be said for over half of this board about FFVII alone. She hopes to win this Ciddie so she can rub it in Hsu's face.

It is easy to define a "good" administrator and a "bad" one. You can get a fair look at their track record by reading their announcements, their posts in the fora, and watching how fast they they kick a man out of Eyes on Each Other.

I have not seen one incompetant administrator on Eyes on Final Fantasy, ever, and that's counting when Bleys was one.

You can trust that our Powers That Be know what they're doing. Their decisions affect every aspect of what we enjoy here at Eyes on FF, and for the most part, there have been a lot of good decisions and moves.

People apparently love usernotes. Drop me one! People like seeing their faces plastered across the Internet via the Album. Keep it up! Ever wanted to show off your hardcore notebook sketching skills? We have a freakin' gallery so you can embarass yourself! Were you pissed that the A&W forum didn't talk about root beer? They seperated it so stupid people don't go in with the wrong misconceptions! The administrators here have clearly gone out on a limb for us, EoFFers, and it's never a bad time to show your appreciation.

Now is always the best time, though, right now, to tell someone that you appreciate them, their work, or whatever. The "now" I get to do this speech, though, is definitely the best time to tell the administrators that I like their work (with the exception of Feedback; that's still a big 'WTF, mate?!?'), because I can recognize them, each of them, in front of the Eyes on Final Fantasy community and then let one know that they rock harder than the others. Which is actually kind of mean, but necessary. If you don't make this world a competitive place, nothing improves, especially administration.

I think that every one of our administrators have done a wonderful job. Cid does some awesome songwriting for the band while Kish and BoB take lead guitars and vocals (for a surprisingly hot duet duo), Roog drums like Animal, Guu on keyboard, RSL on bass, Samuraid tooting his trumpet, and of course, nothing could be complete without Yams shaking both his tambourine and his ass, furiously.

From what I hear (I don't actually go visiting other boards) one of the things that makes Eyes on Final Fantasy great is that the staff and the members are well integrated. That being said, the staff here still has access to things that the members do not, and this gives them a chance to take a different point of view. From looking at the nominations and predictions I can already see this difference. This is especially true when determining who is the best among us. Staff presence on the public board is very important, but there are other facets that go on behind the scenes, unseen by the general membership. That is what makes the Highwind Award so significant. It's staff voting for the best among themselves, considering all aspects of the job.

This member has become one of the greatest and most dedicated staff members I have ever seen during my tenure here, and that says a lot. I try to check warned post emails every evening, but they have almost always been already handled, most notably by this member. Their response time and ability to squash confict is reassuring. When it comes to the Staff Forum, this member gets involved with almost all topics, adding great input on board poilcy. They also keep up on the warnings, not afraid to do the 'dirty work' part of the job that makes it unfun sometimes.

Ok, so a lot of the staff does the above stuff. That's what makes it so great. The thing that stands out in my mind about this member is their dedication to improving some of the more staff-neglected forums at this site. This member has run several events in these forums, and has even taken it upon themselves to oversee a forum on the board that had been in demand for some time. No one else im my time has taken such interest and been so dedicated to this subject, and it is refreshing to see some of the improvements they have made.

I remember quite a while ago we were searching for new Knights. There were a lot of good candidates, but nobody really stood out. So BoB, as BoB does, compiled some post stats for various members, to see who makes the most quality posts in the most variety of forums. Looking at those, one name clearly stood out, and it wasn't even one of the candidates previously mentioned. Immediately upon seeing this member's various post distributions, it clicked im my head 'Oh yeah, that guy, he's great! I can't believe we didn't think of him.' Those two events produced a great staff member (and also probably inflated BoB's stat-ego for a good while, but it was worth it). So I would like everyone to behold your winner for the Highwind Award: Behold the Void!

Heeeeeeeere we go, two Ciddies left to award, and what better awards than Best Male and Best Member? Well, that's always how it goes anyway, so why change it? Anyway, time to be serious for a little bit here.

The Best Male Ciddie is a prestigious award, first added as a category in the EoFF Awards in August of 2001 by Agent Proto. Past winners include Mikztsu (August '01), Scottie (December '01), Dr Unne (June '02), Del Murder (May '03), Psychotic (December '04), and last and least, Loony BoB himself, the only four-time winner of the <s>Defensive Player of the Year Award</s> Best Male Ciddie, winning in November '02, December '03, June '04, and June '05. Obviously, Daniel Peter Towns is a favorite to take home this award again this year, but the competition is tough.

Last December's Best Male Ciddie was a close race for first place, with Loony BoB obtaining 17 votes, Psychotic getting 16, and Primus Inter Pares receiving 15. PiP subsequently went and got himself banned, but Psychotic is still in the running (now as a Cid's Knight. what?), and any of the other nominees could split the voting. RSL, eestlinc, Del Murder, and Jebus were nominated last time around, and placed 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th, respectively, with 11, 10, 9, and 4 votes. NeelprinceofdarknezMasterNwithahatandabuffalochickenmeltandsomesortofweapontobeatupclout, KyonoLoki, and Meat Puppet are all also excellent candidates for this award. Best Member. The top award of the Ciddies, this is all about EoFF. Past winners are big names - Cid, back in the days of the EoFF Awards in 2000, was followed by Acmlm and Nino Brown who tied later that same year. They were followed by Scottie in the last EoFF Awards before the Ciddies came into place and Dr Unne began his reign, picking up five consecutive wins over two and a half years. In the December of 2003, Dr Unne couldn't manage more than 5th place, though, as Loony BoB took his first win, only to not even make the finals in June 2004, where Del Murder would add his name to the top line of the Hall of Fame. In the three most recent Ciddies, BoB would return to victory, with Del Murder, The Captain and eestlinc all falling short. And so we come to today, 10th June 2006, and it's time to see if we'll be seeing BoB continue his run or if we'll see a new winner - not a single one of the other finalists has won this award. We have three Administrators (including two Senior Site Staff), six Cid's Knights, one ex-Recognized Member, one Site Staff and two veterans. We have three chat ops. We have four foxy females and nine manly (ha! I kill me!) men. I suppose I should say a little bit about them...

In times now past, Dignified Pauper was better known (and to some people, still is) as 'Marick', a mild-mannered reporter who would inform us of any gossip and scandals, ensuring that EoFF life was never dull. Since then, he has taken it upon himself to start up many projects. Unfortunately, many of them have not managed to be completed, indeed I'm not entirely sure if any of his plans have ever come into fruition - which does make you wonder just how he missed out on Most Likely To Be Wile E. Coyote! However, he's not Ciddieless tonight, having made success from his poetry. This poor (but dignified) Irish homosexual poetic Shinra-hating brownie-loving rainbow-advocating EoFF regular (actually a Veteran, but I'll let his sig slide) has been asking for us all to vote Marick D. Pauper and will no doubt be more than happy to add the Best Member Ciddie to his name with a well-rocked vote.

Someone a bit more familiar to the Best Member nominee list is probably a bit more likely to win, though - and eestlinc is not to be dismissed by any means. Without his one-time-Best-Member second account, Del Murder, in the running this time around, eest would not be a bad bet for victory by any means. eest has a lot going for him, actually, with the average traits of past Best Members all there - a high-posting staffer who tends to get voted/nominated more for "Best ____" categories than the MLTs, he posts with excellent spelling, so much that I often forget that he (quite intentionally) leaves out a lot of capital letters - but that's all part of the eest side style. eest was left empty handed earlier tonight after failing to extend on his run of four consecutive Best Poet Ciddies, so he'll be gunning for the big one this time around. Is it now eest's time to shine?

The feisty, foxy, fire_of_avalon suits her name. She's hot, man. She's sexy - we've already got that set in stone, after she took Sexiest Female home despite the plethora of attractive women (or at least, attractively disguised men) here at EoFF who were all in the running. But don't dismiss her for just another pretty face - she's one of the best friends a person could have, according to BoB. She does it all - she's an effective Cid's Knight, an op in #eoff, a helpful go-to person when you have trouble in life, a caring friend when you're feeling down, a great laugh when you're looking for fun and if you're in a crude mood then she'll slap you out of it without a second thought. Surely all of this is more than enough to warrant her position in the nominees list, and it quite possibly is enough to get her all the way to the finish line - will foa be the hottest ever Best Member to grace EoFF?

Okay, just quickly - am I the only person who found it amusing that Jebus got a nomination for the bus Ciddies? I mean... it's Jebus! He's got bus in his name! Haha! ...yeah, okay, I'll get on with it now. Jebus has been rising up the ranks of one of EoFF's authoritive groups in the past six months, with himself and the pre-mentioned foa being promoted from sometimes-ops to auto-ops in #eoff, EoFF's official chatroom. Always leaving 'subtle' (*cough*) hints that he would oh-so-love it if he were to be a Cid's Knight, and that he should already be one, and that he would make a really great one, and and and yeah. Even if his begging is futile, it's amusing all the same. Jebus, who was nominated for Horniest Member as a joke after proclaiming he was an asexual, will definitely have a lot of backers, and even if he can't climb his way up to Knighthood, he sure can pull in votes for Best Member. Jebus won his first Ciddie in December, and it would certainly raise eyebrows if he followed that Most Underrated Member award with Best Member just six months later!

kikimm, the non-#eoffer who gave the #eoffers a run for their money in Best Chatter, is a usernote-posting thread-modding ass kikking machine. One could say kikimm has been unlucky so far tonight - she was the leading lady in nominations for Best Female but ended up lacking those four votes that would have lead her to victory in the finals. That leaves her with one Ciddie left on her mind - this one. She's not a stranger to this level, either, having been in the running in December... but she'll be looking to make a vast improvement, ending in last place on that occasion with four votes. kikimm has her fans aplenty, though, and to dismiss this well-loved Cid's Angel would be a mistake. Just ask those people who left her those usernotes... all 14,214 of them. That's insane, Kristina. x_x;

The first of the nominees to have already won more than one Ciddie tonight, Leeza has already picked up Evilest Member, a trophy that will look odd in contrast with her five consecutive Nicest Member awards of past events. Also winning her fourth consecutive Best Cid's Knight Ciddie, it seems you guys actually <i>like</i> having an evil Cid's Knight on your hands... still, the runner-up to the Highwind Award for Forums Staffers, Leeza has commanded respect from people of all groups at EoFF. She's not just a gritty, hard-nosed moderator though - to a large amount of us, she's also a caring friend, a good counsellor, second mother or a, er, cat. With those two Ciddies under her belt, she's proved that she's more than capable of bringing in the votes, so she may well have the best chance of making herself the first female winner. She's also the only girl who, although by only a single predictor, managed to get predicted to win. Is this nice, evil Cid's Knight capable of pulling off victory? We'll soon find out!

Neel Hates Clout's Guts, because clout wouldn't let Neel have his username stay beyond 25 characters. This princeofdarknez has gone a long way over the years, and his username has gone all over the place, too - not just with his longer "Neel With" names but also shorter names such as -N- - and he would have had just N, too, if the admins would have let him. Well known for trying to push boundaries lately, Neel unfortunately went a step too far and lost his Recognized Member status, something he earned some time ago for writing up an updated version of the Which EoFFer Are You? online quiz. In the past six months, it's been about a different kind of Neel than that, though, as he's been getting involved with April Fool's dramas when he hasn't been making a vain attempt to revive the EoFF Post (again with DP), posting while drunk, posting while sober (although it's sometimes hard to tell the difference), doing that whole username thing or else just getting into trouble. Still, there's no such thing as bad publicity, and this rings true as Neel has pushed himself into some highly regarded company as a Best Member finalist, and will no doubt be looking to bring this Ciddie back to BoB's home nation, New zealand, where Neel has been spending most of his time in recent months.

And that brings us to Psychotic, the favourite to become the next new Best Member at EoFF. Given that this time the winner of Best Member only pulled it off by one vote, it's very possible that he has indeed achieved a one-up on his long-time arch-rival, possibly proving that you need to be on Staff to get your name engraved onto this big, golden Cid's-head-on-a-stick. Now, they often say that winning Best Male is consolation to those who don't win Best Member, and going by that logic, two-time Best Male Psychotic not winning that award this time around may be a much bigger sign than people might have realised - does this mean that Psy is no longer getting consolation votes (but then, of course, going by that logic, eest may just have this one in the bag!)? The newest Cid's Knight at EoFF, Psy has been rather subdued in the past month or two thanks to him having to abide by the rules and set an example rather than his usual staff-slating, spammerific antics which Levian has happily taken charge of. That hasn't changed his popularity with the masses though, and he still has friends in every corner of EoFF, something I don't see ever changing. Enough friends to push the voting in his favour? I don't think anyone would dismiss that idea. Psychotic is most certainly one of the safer bets for Best Member, and we could be seeing a very big day for this highly entertaining Liverpool fan.

RSL is one of the nicest people you could ever know. Really. I can't think of a single time this guy was ever mean or nasty in his time at EoFF, or even outside of EoFF. Neither can BoB. And BoB's known him for almost six years. Six years, and not once mean/nasty. But then, anyone who knows RSL won't be very surprised. He really is just that nice - he's a big, cuddly teddy bear. Not just cute - with the help of what is arguably the greatest beard in EoFF, if not the world, RSL has become the first male to achieve the feat Ally managed in late 2002 and Chaos repeated in mid-2004 by picking up both Cutest and sexiest awards in a single Ciddies event. Is there anything this guy can't do? He's already added Best Male to his collection and will no doubt be modest about his chances of pulling off victory in this one, but one Dignified Pauper says his chances of victory are much bigger than that, and BoB has already backed up Pauper's prediction with his vote. RSL was third in the nominations tally, and will certainly pick up more votes than noms. Will the RSL fanboys and fangirls of the world be pushing our Eeyore loving admin to the biggest win of his Ciddies life (this is debateable, that MLT Be David Hasselhoff was pretty big)? Find out soon!

rubah being in the final means that every female Cid's Knight who has been around for the entirity of the past six months has made it to the finals for Best Member, and every female in the final is a Cid's Knight. I think that might be a first. Sakura Yume would be proud! She has the backing of #eoff, she's a Cid's Knight (which always helps, only on one occasion has Best Member gone to a non-staffer), she's got skills, she's got style, she's got sex appeal, she's got a cute boyfriend that can vouch for all of this (and he's got all of them, too!), she certainly won't be missing out on votes with all that. You need more than a lot of things going for you to win this one, though, and last December's Best (not to mention Sexiest) Female has repeated her Best Chatter victory, and although she hasn't been able to repeat her Most Likely To Get Together win, she's handed it back in exchange for the Cutest Couple award, something she was most likely more than happy to do! Fast climbing her way up the all-time Ciddies winners list with six wins in two Ciddies events, will she have the momentum to keep it going with a Best Member Ciddie? It's not long now until we know for sure...

He did what some thought was impossible. Samuraid, facing up against a record-equalling seven-time winner of Most Helpful Techy in cl_out, would be forgiven to think that a win against the :p-posting machine simply could not be done. cl_out amassed a whopping 43 votes, and I'm pretty sure that no member has ever passed 32 votes and not won, let alone 40. But Samuraid got 46, in what was probably the biggest one-on-one (no disrespect to the other finalist, Yamaneko) battle in Ciddies history. Samuraid prevailed, though, and possibly the first-ever member - outside of Cid, of course -to start his forums staff life as an administrator got only his second Ciddie to his name. A winner of last year's Highwind Award for Site Staff, Samuraid has consistently gone out of his way to make EoFF a better place, working on the frontsite and forums alike, not just with techy stuff but now also contributing to the community with his moderating and contributions to Staff Forum discussions. This is one member who nobody can ever say does not do anything for EoFF, and I'm confident that one of the things he reads most often when communicating with EoFFers is "Thankyou!" Is it now time for us to be saying thankyou once more - this time with a Best Member Ciddie?

The Site Staff is represented not just by the senior members, with theundeadhero making another appearance in the finals. Quite surprisingly even to myself, theundeadhero has only ever won a single Ciddie - Best Site Staff, twelve months ago. Perhaps he is more deserving of thost Most Underrated Member nominations and votes than we realise - or else maybe he's just unlucky in that other people have quite often pipped him to the big time. What better way to add to his Best Site Staff Ciddie with a Best Member Ciddie, though!? hero is an extremely hard worker at EoFF, working both behind the scenes with his coding which he has been improving over the months with purely so he can assist EoFF's frontsite work. That's not all, though, as hero also strives to keep the community interesting, with such things as Battle of the Bands and the EoFF RPG Giveaway contest - which even featured some hot NES & SNES prizes that came out of hero's own retro Final Fantasy collection! This soldier has put a lot of effort into making EoFF a better place and, like those mentioned above, is more than deserving of anyone's vote.

And now, with all that said and done, it's time to find out just how many votes each of these guys and girls got.
