The romanized names are silly anyway, you just sound like a fanboy using them...

I don't really see why they changed the names, since they're all acceptable names anyway. I guess to make them more exotic sounding or something.

Well you see, that's exactly why they are in english for the japanese, in order to sound exotic. And some of the names just don't work for english speakers. Souffle? Traitor? Adlai Lasbird? No thanks :p. Besides, transliterating japanese can result in several equally correct results, seeing as it's is phonetic, and English is not. And then there's the lack of differensiation (is that even a word?) between l and r. Adlai and Adrai looks the exact same in japanese.

Fav is Albel, but I voted Maria because she's my second fav, the sexiest character in the game and only got 1 vote while Albel already got 5 votes. :greenie:

From a battle perspective, Maria is clearly the winar :p, but I think Albel is well, cooler :p. Cliff is pretty cool too, but I've got a thing for slightly emo/destructive guys.

He's the closest thing the game has to a badass. The badass is always the "default favorite character".

Maria rocks if you're trying to MP Kill something. Otherwise Albel is the man. The way his normal attack works (2 pushes of the button makes him slice back and forth in rapid succession) makes him so powerful, especially when hes got "raise attack decision by 2 or 3" goin on. One round of attacks from him hits the enemy like 8-10 times.

Otherwise, Fayts Dimension Door is equally amazing and safe. Set it to Long Range Powerful, and Dimension Door.. Run away.. Dimension Door... Run way. What a safe way to do insane amounts of dmg (Note: need a dedicated healer for that rofl)

Yep, and I now control Maria and spam it. I attached Freeze to her weapon, so it almost always freezes if it doesnt kill outright.
