Cool weapons instead of celestial weapons?

Is there anyway we can get cool weapons from fighting monster arenas monsters or hard monsters instead of working hard for celestial weapons is there any way in the cool weapons it can have like break damage limit or break hp limit maybe?:confused:

Synthesis! It's possible to make really kickass weapons with synthesis, but the celestial weapons are still better.

I made a great weapon for Tidus called excalibur, but most of the weapons you win in the arena are usually like poison strike or Death strike not rly very useful because at that point in the game everthing is immune:(

If you beat Nemesis in the Monster Arena, he will drop weapons that have break damage limit, and he will also drop armor that has break h.p. limit.

Any weapon you customise won't have the benefits of ignoring the target's Defence when attacking physically, nor will they be more powerful when you have more/less HP/MP.

The only case where a customised weapon is better than a Celestial Weapon for dealing damage is when casting magic. Since I can't be bothered to get Lulu's Sigil and don't use her for physical attacks, I always customise a specialised magic weapon with BLD, Magic Booster, One MP Cost and Magic +20%.

Yes.
Many of the Arena enemies drop weapons that are extremely beneficial, including the TripleAP/Overdrive-->AP/Triple Overdrive Weapons, but the quality or customization potential is suspect, and not always the one you want. The prize is really for what they drop item-wise, so you can customize your own cool-uber-awesome armor and weapons.
They can also be sold for a very hefty price.

even so i would still recommend CW's, as mentioned above they ignore defence, and it will probably take you less time to collect the weapons, crests and sigils than it will to customize all the weapons you want.
