I downloaded a SSB 64 ROM and I played it on Project64 and it runs really really fast, how do I slow it down a bit?

restrict the frame rate... NTSC is aroun 29.97... I don't know what PAL is though....

23.9something. It's meant to be 24 and 30, but a bit of the bandwidth is used for sync signals.
There should be an "auto" setting somewhere anyway, which limits the framerate to whatever the game is meant to run at.

Yes, and the normal FPS is usually around 50.

Yeah, for games, the FPS should be 50 for PAL and 60 for NTSC (or 59.97 if it'll let you enter that) :p

50 interlaced frames. >:(
Meaning the number of full frames would be half of that. I just got confused by videos.

Perhaps, but 50/60 is what I find I have to actually tell the emulator itself to get correct speed :p Unless PJ64 counts frames differently from every other emulator I've tried :p

I didn't say you weren't right :p.
