Wouldnt it be better if reds cubs and wife helped him fight aswell??

It just came to me that apart from the start you never saw reds cubs and never saw anything of his 'mate'i think they should have added them in and that red had more lines

Those cubs were shown many many years after the events of Final Fantasy VII and Advent Children. So many that the city of Midgar has been overgrown with plants, and it is clearly not at the same time as Advent Children, where we simply see Midgar in ruins.

So, chances are Red hasnt even met his mate, and it's impossible for them to have conceived the children by the point regardless.
