something I thought earlier today. I thought X-2 would be great as a movie, so what do you guys think?

I only like this game for the battle system, and the dressphere system... I think if you were to remove that, the storyline isn't that great. And I can't imagine Yuna being in some amazing fight scene without looking silly...
So it's my faviroute game, but movie... That wouldn't be very good.

:D we don't need another Charlie's Angels. I don't see the point in making FFX-2 into a movie if they were to keep the same aspects of the game. If that happened, then lets just call the movie Spira's Chocobos. :love:

I think Flower Moon meant that if SE did a movie, they should remake FFX-2's setting in the movie instead of making the movie work out like the game: enhance the storyline, add some more character development, think about good ways how to replace the battles with actio scenes without the movie having too much action to ruin the storyline etc.

I like Final Fantasy X-2 as a game, myself. The battle system was very fun, and you'd lose that feature if the game was turned into a movie since you can't be playing yourself anymore. The game didn't have that many FMVs or other big movie scenes either, so it'd be hard to make the game more cinematic. Besides, FFX-2 is a sequel. If it was turned into a movie, an average viewer might not get much of the story. It would be like with FFVII AC, pretty much only fans of the game would really like it. And considering I think FFVII is a lot more popular than FFX-2, the movie wouldn't have too big a fanbase to start with.

I think making a movie of X-2 would be pretty good, but, as said before, they'd have to enhance some things and add others. Since there weren't really that many cutscenes (at least important ones), they'd have to add something in, or else you'd just be watching Yuna, Rikku, and Paine run around killing fiends and taking on one or two major jobs. it would be all action. It's not like they could add in the tasks you get during the game, because the movie would then be full of things that have nothing to do with the storyline. The outfits were okay, but I think that maybe they should add to the more revealing ones or something so that it doesn't get bad remarks. It would take some effort, but I'd like to see and FFX-2 movie. And they might as well do X while they're at it..............

Seriously though, I guess my admiration for Leblanc stems from two of my favorite anime characters that she's essentially a clone of, right down to the flunkies: Grandis (Nadia) and Crimson Scorpion (Steam Detectives). Arguably the character ultimately originated with Time Bokan, which I haven't seen.

hmmm, this is the information people seem to miss alot, a section of lore.

if a small lookabout is what you are in the mood for, you will eventually find out ALOT about Lenne and Shuyin... and there past.

as for paine... I kind of found the nostalgic visits to her past good enough :)

How old is Tara? Ya see if they did do it live action I would actually want the characters to be accurately aged. I mean I get so irritated at IMDB when 20 odd people say that Anglina Jolie should play Paine if they did an live action version...morons. Number one she doesn't look like Paine and secondly..she's waay too old.

I don't know I'd personally like it if they got new actors who were actually around the characters age. I mean they don't have to be on the dot but ya know.

I take back what I said about a fight scene, I just imagined something cool... Like, what if they changed dresspheres like how mystique changes appearance in the x-men films? They could be jumping all over the place changing around.
Like... Paine's in a sword lock with someone... So she changes into dark knight, smirks, and then expells energy from her body (darkness) to repel them! Then goes gun mage and shoots them, you get the idea...
But the storyline is still kinda lacking.

^^thous are not official covers, no SE logos. but a moive would be fun, i think it would make a better moive, tbh. its so short and lacking most things that ff games have. but maybe that bit where yuna is falling into glen would look to much like that bit in ff7ac where cloud is falling with the white around him. lol, this could become a trend, the sequal is a movie! haha, 1st..game 2nd movie! haha.
